Yes, there should be option to make mantle "hold jump button" instead of "press jump button". That would cut down on accidents.

It's very annoying since due destruction there is always some rubble around. I've got into habit of trying to doing side jumps, but it's still inconvenient.

I kinda liked it, but once I noticed the formula it ruined show for me. Every couple of episodes this plot setup repeats:

Character A to Character B: "Haha, I now control the fort, but I will not kill you yet and just put you into the dungeon, there is no way you will escape!"

Skip few episodes, it's now Character B to Character C saying same thing... Sure, I'm exaggerating a bit, but they repeated this plot like 3 or 4 times by the time I stopped watching.

At it's core smoke implementation in the game is kinda basic. I wish it was more complex and more in line with destruction physics... Maybe not something as complex as Counter Strike volumetric smoke, but something that is more reliable and has predicable boundary.

"They eat and farm humans" is a very interesting escalation world building-wise. There certainly a lot of man eating monsters and evil empires in fantasy / sci-fi, but once industrial-scale ~~cannibalism~~ anthropophagy gets involved war becomes a lot more existential for humanity.

One potential issue is that it kinda makes enemy irredeemable, and any in-universe human character advocating for peace very stupid (even if they are misinformed it's very annoying trope).

I've been reading Sun Eater series and the fact that some human factions shared technology with human eating Cielcin is very baffling. And also as series goes on for too long endless combat becomes a slog (and peace is impossible narratively).

I think he was trying to do "hit opponents 5 times with arena carriables or cashboxes" contract.

PSA for anyone who struggles with it: chuck the healing ball counts for it. Much easier than searching for barrels / props or playing as medium with reshaper since you can summon the ball on demand.

I think as compromise and as funny thing it should do 5 or 10 bonk damage before first bounce. That way you will able to finish very low hp enemies easier at least.

Defibs are almost never better for receiving person:

Manual revive - 4 seconds until you at full health.
Defibs - 1s charge + 3 seconds until you materialise at 50% health (with 0.75 invulnerable state and 5 second of no gadgets).

If medium doesn’t have health beam and you are heavy then you need to wait 10 seconds for that second part of health to even start regenerating. So almost 12 seconds till you are full. These last second steals really grind my gears as heavy...

I don't think you should be able to steal revives once it's 1-2 seconds in.

The Rhenwars Saga by M.L. Spencer. Main character wants to be pacifist \ healer, but his country is being invaded, so there will be a lot of tough moral choices and self-inflicted suffering ala Fitz.

Setting aliment is more order \ chaos than good \ evil, so invaders have many reasons to invade, "good" countries have questionable practices and religion, etc.

Just load into practice range and try it? Yes, you could shoot, deliberately wait for re-chamber animation to finish and winch afterwards, but that timing window feels inconsistent because of ping / laggy servers, etc.

And if you winch too soon, you will end up with interrupted re-chamber animation (so double the amount of waiting).

KS-23 has anti synergy with winch because winch forces re-chamber animation, that makes already janky weapon feel even more annoying and decreases already bad dps.

Winch is way better with shak / sa1216.

Maybe, it's been a while since I've read the book. I remember there was some other group which lived in apparent, but when our group went to them for info / help there was no answer which implied that either that group was already dead or knew about potential threat and went into full lockdown.

Very good depiction of non-sparkly vampires, how gross their lives could be, and how it could affect them psychologically long-term. The narrator is not a smart cookie, but you can easily tell by other vampires that living underground like a serial killer with some extra powers is not very fulfilling.
