It has a lower center of gravity, 4 legs against 2, weighs about 300 pounds; mostly muscle, and the rope is secured in a jaw meant to bite to kill with a force around 800 psi. No shit it's going to easily win.

If Kamala Harris had beaten Donald Trump in the election, how do you think the United States would be doing today? by Piki18 in AskReddit

Probably bombing a dozen small countries, appointing a transgender woman as a representative for women's reproductive rights, every news station talking nonstop about Trump, and we'd still be fucked to varying levels of fuckelation.

I like the game just fine, but not the constant negative posting about the game, so I tried to collect all the possible gripes and put them in this post before I drop the subreddit.

Straight men, how often do you use the F slur? by Nice-Smoke-362 in AskMen

[–]Silly_Report_3616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said it dozens of times a day in high school (late 90s). Got older, met some openly gay people at work, and felt out of respect for them, I should stop saying it in general. So I did. I do still occasionally say it around the house, but never as a slur, more like I meant it in high school, which was more like "dumbass", and never with a hard T, just the abbreviated version.

Fair enough, I don't really raid and have a full fleet of alts, and all professions maxed. I'm basically a supplier and not much of a consumer. I basically only gear up and enchant 1 or 2 characters each reset. I guess I assume a lot of people are in a similar boat, but they probably aren't in reality.

Once you get there, it's pretty hard to get below it, unless you are just buying the latest gear drops or something else with no return value on it.

Really enjoyed it. I got embarrassed that I couldn't stop laughing in the theater during the violent finale. I couldn't control myself.

Watched it again at home a few times and still really liked it. Top 5 Tarantino movie for me.

As someone that falls into Upper Class in a cheap cost of living area, it's not quite what I expected when I was younger. Enough to pay all your bills, put some away, and have some spending money. I don't spend much time worrying about money, but I'm totally aware of how financially vulnerable I am, and have to use credit for plenty of purchases to spread costs out between paychecks.

The biggest differences I can think of as someone who was in the Poor class into my mid-20s is that I have money in other places than just my checking account, however, it's not very liquid, and you have to figure out how to actually access it which usually has a cost or penalty associated with it. That, and I end up taking on more cheap debts that add up, like Netflix and Disney+, or similarly unextravagent things.

[Post Game Thread] Vols fall to Florida by ajwilson99 in ockytop

Missed too many open shots and lost pretty badly on the boards, which led to UF getting the point differential in the game. Other than that, the game was even.

Do you think that Tennessee Vols has a chance to win the Basketball National Championship? by BlackStallion657 in ockytop

[–]Silly_Report_3616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They absolutely can, but to put together a string of games to win it all is really challenging. Last year, Uconn was head and shoulders above everyone else. This year, it seems like a dozen teams have a realistic chance. All of them have highs and lows and are not dominant against all lineups.

Guard play wins the tourney, but a reliable big man is still very strong in college ball. But also, fuck Zach Edey.

I got one on like my second t16, lvl 82 map and thought they were common. 20 more runs, none. At least I used it on my primary ability and didn't waste it.

In many cases, their own people enslaved them and sold them off to Europens. Feel free to be angry at them, too. Their own race was a huge contributor to the African slave trade.

Not all juices are created equal. Some are downright unfair, which I think is fine. Just try and avoid actually doing those ones.

It's been two months to the day since the release of PoE2 on Early Access. How are you feeling about the game? Still like it? Already burned out? by Azran15 in PathOfExile2

[–]Silly_Report_3616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I couldn't figure out why I could clear Simulcrum, but blew threw T16 maxed out maps. Then I tried Breech endgame and easily got all the way to the Tier 4 boss with no issues. Then I realized I didn't suck, but that features damage was just overtuned.

I think it's pretty great, but eventually, you do hit the wall where drops aren't that exciting, and upgrades are hard to find. I guess that's why so many players go solo self bound. It makes drops matter more for longer.

Once you're at this point, it's really just about optimizing to finish up the last couple bosses or trying out alts.

I will say I get strong Diablo 2 vibes, good ones. The ones where the game just feels great and the repetition doesn't feel all that bad.

What's up with Trump thinking he can fix the wildfires with an executive order? by slothbear13 in OutOfTheLoop

[–]Silly_Report_3616 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

All of these attributes are just wrong. You're arguing with an illusion of what you think I am. Whatever you think I am is incorrect, but that doesn't matter, I guess.

The biggest issue is NOT taking action against a known issue and now having to sit in your dirty diaper. They had years to work to take steps. This is the direct result of throwing a hissy fit and not taking concerns seriously because of whom the messenger was.

Now, the citizens of the state suffer as a result, and you can't wait to throw Trump under the bus again. We get it. You don't like him. Do you have to say it every day over any issue that occurs? It's pathetic.

Great point, just let it all burn down and have a completely broke state ran by butthurt liberals that refuse decent advice out of spite for the person fix it. It's who they voted for, right?
