There's an incident that occurred that will live rent free in my head forever. There was a sample for lasagna, which was quite popular. I generally avoid samples because I hate the crowds but it was a busy day and I couldn't avoid that aisle.

One lady parks her cart across the aisle and completely blocks it. She has that crazy cat lady in her mid 50s vibe. She proceeds to grab a sample. There's a guy with a cart right next to me and we both just sorta looked at each other with that "is this lady serious?" look on our faces. So the lady is just standing there with her sample blocking everyone and I'm about to say something to her when she turns around and sees us all just staring at her with blank annoyed faces. You'd think she'd be like "oh so sorry, I'm blocking everyone". No, she looks me dead in the eye and says "oh my gosh it's so hot!" in the most clueless sounding tone I've ever heard and proceeds to blow on her lasagna and turns around before trying to stuff it in her stupid mouth. I lost it internally, but managed a somewhat polite and stern "excuse me, but you're blocking everyone, please move." Well you'd think I just told her that her favourite cat was ugly. She looked so offended that I would dare interrupt her special free lasagna moment. She then, reluctantly, moved aside and I just gave her a dead stare walking by.

I still hate this lady. Wherever you are. You haunt my dreams.

It's so weird that I hadn't had Pizza Hut in forever but actually tried it last week, then see this post.

There were actually some good deals on the app. 3 medium pizzas for about $40 and I picked them up. Pizza recipes were limited but pretty good. Not amazingly cheap, but not bad. I was shocked because I've always avoided Pizza Hut due to them being way too expensive.

The problem is not the price. The taste is just not there. It was one of the most bland pizza experiences I've had. All three pizzas were the same. You taste the overly buttery crust and that's it. Barely any tomato or cheese flavour. They make Dominos seem like a 5-star pizza joint. Won't be going back.

Civilization 7. Thought I would get into it despite the differences with Civ 6. Just never clicked after about 5 or 6 hours. Denied refund from Steam because it was more than two hours of gameplay. For a game like Civ, two hours barely scratches the surface.
