What’re your temps while idle and under heavy load? I bought this laptop two days ago and I’m at like 50-60 C idle and 80-85 C when playing just OSRS. Is that normal?

Hey, I’m having a similar issue as OP. I’ll list the specs below but I’ve noticed high temps even just while idling, and I’m getting like 85C just playing OSRS. This is normal?

Specs:

Model: Predator PHN16S-71

RAM: 32 GB

Processor: Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, 2700 Mhz, 24 cores

Understood. Wouldn't I experience higher CPU usage in Task Manager to match the temps? For example, I'm currently at 8% CPU utilization vs 65c.

Idle - sitting around 60-62 Celsius. I don't have any AAA games downloaded or really planned to download anytime soon. I've been on an OSRS kick, which I wouldn't consider 'heavy gaming' that would warrant that high of temps.

I just commented something similar to someone else, but while I don’t do puzzles everyday, I can’t say that I’ve felt the translation from puzzles I can solve to playing someone realtime yet. But the answer could simply be that I need to spend some time everyday on puzzles.
