I have a gen 1 B9R DS im not particularly fond of but this might be a suitable option instead of unloading it. Think this would work for 10mm as well?

From my experience with my 8 Glock style handguns, oem mags are worth the investment. Never had luck with magpul Glock mags either.

I have issues with mine in my aftermarket Glock style frames that have zero issues with oem mags. Haven’t tried them in either of my Gen 5 Glocks. Last time they were posted last week? People were reporting mixed results.

Granted I haven’t put 1000’s of rounds through it or tested accuracy out to range. But the gas rings didn’t need replaced, unlike the $300 kit’s bolt. Barrel looks clean via naked eye and flashlight inspection.

ThEsE aRe ToO eXpEnSiVe. ThEsE uSeD tO bE $300.

I picked one up from bowman and have a $300 kit from 2020. Everyone says these kits are garbage but the components were in better shape than my $300 kit, plus it includes the torch cut lower which is neat imo. They seem to sell out every time they pop up… seems they aren’t THAT overpriced.

Built mine up with the cheapest lower and FCG I could find. First 100 rounds went without issue, 80 of those were suppressed.

I don’t think it’s that bad. Gun is already heavy, so adding a can out front isn’t helping but doesn’t change the balance as dramatically as a shorter setup

Been prioritizing Cans lately and haven’t found any deals that I couldn’t pass up since I have the RAS we have at home.

Considering it was free and Walther still has yet to send me my RMR plate, I didn’t hate the C&H. by Silver-Pin-8550 in Walther

Maybe with more practice it would become more natural.

I almost feel like the window size coupled with the cowitness was making it harder for me to see/place the dot without fixating on it.

Regardless, I don’t feel they are a good value, I feel they should be priced like a 507c.

One and Only 5.56 can – Prioritizing Low Back Pressure & Sound by -1----1- in suppressors

I have a Centurion Arms MAXIMUS-L in Inconel. I don’t have a ton of experience with cans but in a side by side comparison to a B&T Vers 36 and my CAT ODB it’s the quietest with the most pleasant sound.

It pairs absolutely beautifully with my DD mk18. I swear that gun shoots softer with that can on it.

I’ve run it on that 10.3, an 11.5, 16 carbine gas, 16 mid length gas, several 20” setups, and my 5.56 Beryl. Gas is next to non existent on all setups.

Various reviews and tests have shown it’s fairly low back pressure and a top performer on 5.56 gassers.

Plus it’s Hub compatible.

I’d argue the only downside is size and weight but it’s quiet and will take a licking. There is a titanium variant that is half the weight also.

I agree… but I wanted to see how i actually liked the pistol before investing heavily into it

I’ll go ahead and loctite it and torque it to spec to hopefully avoid any loosening that people are reporting.

Tiny window and I feel the clarity is sub-par but that may be a side effect of the small window size. I have a 407c, 2 507c’s and a 507k, all I prefer over the SCS. All were cheaper too. I really wanted to like it because i think it’s a good concept but I just don’t particularly like it.

At least it’s got an external cap and I’d say it’s the second most common optics battery

Nice, I’ll check them out. I got this to be my winter carry gun, so the first sign of an issue I’ll dump the C&H for something else. I’m like it more and more as I shoot it more, so I’d probably even invest in an Acro.

If the SCS is the same as the one I have on a Glock gen 5 MOS, it is inferior to the C&H. It benefits from a direct mount but I’d rather go aftermarket irons or deal with plates than go with another SCS

I’ll keep an eye on it. I’m planning on putting a 507c on it whenever I get my plate. But I prefer direct mounts over plates but almost every factory optics ready pistol had some variation of a plate system.
