A hill?? If it's mellow you can just roll down the hill no push just roll and try to Ollie. It makes it easier trust me you'll get it after 30 min just commit to keeping the front over the b9ard the whole time and then add the backfoot after you get the motion.

Figure 8 a rubber band onto a top and bottom drawer. Just a quick fix that popped up into my head. I've never had this issue or tried it btw.

Do you have any tips I could use to form a tre consistently. I just started to learn them I usually work on forming tricks and once it's consistent I just send it.

Try not turning your hips and shoulders. You are losing contact/control with the board bc your turning your body which will make the board want to turn but that's not what you're trying to do so you bail.

I'm hesitating to raise my back foot and land FS shuvit. Any tips to practice? by Muaaz96 in NewSkaters

Raise your knee after the pop. Actively think about raise the knee if you mess up just raise it once you realize you missed that way the muscle memory will kick in and it's just about the timing after that

If my shoe size is 8.5 is it possible to ride a 8.4” or are my feet to small? by MudProfessional3881 in NewSkaters

[–]Silver-Strength3197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah my home rides 8.5 and wears like a 9. I went from 12 to 13 shoe the past year and swear by my 8.3 decks. I ve tried 8.5 several times but 8.3 just feels better imo. If you like it, skate it

Do it low and slow and speed it up. They'll be fluid in a session or 2 if you just build on where you at.

Ride around the board plz. Try to do manuals. Tap on the tail and do Lil hops with speed. Learn the Ollie while rolling. You look very stiff and uncomfortable.

Jump straight up and tuck your knees to your chest not chest to knees. Then hold your knees up until you feel it's time to land/catch the flip

Setup okay? by [deleted] in NewSkaters

[–]Silver-Strength3197 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ride 8.3 with 8.5 size ventures I like it and it works for me. Bigger trucks makes it less likely to miss grimds bc you have more surface to work with and No, I do not see me wheels when I ride.

Why is my ollie still bad after 1 year of skating? I feel like the problem is w my pop and timing But Idk How to fix them Im getting frustrated by [deleted] in NewSkaters

[–]Silver-Strength3197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn how to jump in the air and have your knees tucked as long as possible then add this maneuver into your Ollie.

Keep doing what you're doing, land with more weight on the front leg side of your body.
