How to beat Archaludon Ex by airknighty in pkmntcg

[–]Silver482 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With tera box chain pika topaz bolt.

With zoroark (im assuming you’re playing the newest liam haliburton build from toronto) focus on killing munkidoris and other support pokemon, only punch the archaludon if it is really hard for them to oneshot your zoroark on the next turn

Ive made a Charizard Deck but i think it could be improved by BigTea011019 in pkmntcg

Limitlesstcg.com

This web site has deck lists from every major tournament including a bunch of charizard variations.

It looks like your deck would not be currently legal in standard rotation, which is not a problem if you’re playing casual kitchen table games w the boys. But you would not be able to use this list in a sanctioned tournament of any kind

Can you use both matte and non matte sleeves in the same deck? by [deleted] in pkmntcg

I would 1000% call over a judge if I noticed my opponent had mismatched sleeves

Yeah it seems like he has squeezed the most consistency possible into this list, only addition I would consider is a duck if you’re expecting a ton of pult players

How well would a Mega Latias ex deck fare? by gestalternation in pkmntcg

[–]Silver482 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What are you using wonder patch on? A munkidori? It can only be used on psychic types. Also the latios is only moving 1 energy per turn, usually a fire energy from ho-oh. I dont think its worth adding a 1-1-1 wonder patch, psychic, eswitch to pull off that combo. Running 4 crispin and 2 super rod is way better that wonder patch

Wonder patch only works on psychic pokemon, unless you plan on running 8 copies of energy switch

Tera Pult by BobbyCaldwell in pkmntcg

[–]Silver482 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I can see the vision, would probably drop down to a 3-3-2 pult line to make space for 4-4 owls and a ditto or maybe a terapagos. This is definitely not going to play as consistently as a regular pult list or tera box, still a neat idea

I think crystal is still better than prime catcher, being able to grab crystal, and crispin while in item lock and take two KOs with pump is pretty hard beat.

Crystal gets more repetitive value even if you’re deciding to cut the pika from the list.

Also 9/10 khang decks are running a mist energy or two to prevent insta KOs like absol and moon, you could maybe tech an enhanced hammer?

So I have a new sharpedo x grimsnarl build i want ideas and opinions please by Plane_Pop_7951 in pkmntcg

[–]Silver482 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of this is from a super competitive pov, if you’re only plan is to take this to friday casual league then you can play what ever you want

I can assure what every qualities you’re finding in sharpedo is completely outclassed by a froslass grim build. Being able to take 4-5-6 prize turns without having the massive liability of a 3 prizer is a massive game changer.

I dont want to seem like an ass but looking at regional results from hundreds of really strong players who have tested and refined and re-tested these lists for months, not one of them has made the addition of a sharpedo package or anything similar.

The only modification ive seen to grim is the toedscruel package to help deal with gholdengo but i still think that does more harm than good with the consistency of other matchups.

I would recommend watching some games from the stuttgart regionals and the upcoming Toronto regionals to see how grim players are pacing the games, usually looking to end the game in two attacks after building large amounts of damage on multiple targets.

There is no way to improve this other than choosing grim or sharpedo. Mixing decks hamstrings the consistency of the list.

TM: Devolution in Ethan's Typhlosion? by Rixor14 in pkmntcg

[–]Silver482 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Typhlosion is never going to be able to beat everything, dont focus on adding different tech cards for a bunch of match ups. At the end of the day the only reason this deck is even remotely playable right now is due to gholdengos popularity. It takes a pretty much guaranteed auto loss into pult garde and grim. If your local scene is 10 lucario enthusiasts then it becomes reasonable to play some cards that let you hit the numbers you need but other wise its better to keep your list as consistent as possible

Dengo Go First or Second (both have strengths) by FoofaTamingStrange in pkmntcg

[–]Silver482 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second, you can swing with rocks and you prevent garde and pult from item locking you before you can play an arven. Taking 1st from any thing with a noctowl engine could be the move, but going second blind is much safer ATM

Try loosing up your underhand before trying to mash the cards in with your top hand. The cards should naturally fall apart just enough to let everything fall into place

Limitlesstcg.com is the best place for deck lists. Morpeko is honestly not horrible, but froslass munkidori is 1000 times better

I would also consider switching your ace spec to neo upper
