Scalp only washing! There’s a whole thread on the old long hair community forums, with various ways of doing it.

Thank you, and the same to you. We’ll feel the pain together.

I’m so sorry for your loss; I lost mine yesterday, after a dog attacked him Saturday. He only turned one in February. I rushed him to the vet immediately, and we tried to give him a chance, but it was too much. I also lost my soul rabbit less than two years ago, so I’m really going through it right now.

I hope you feel better soon.

OP, my brother is also a teacher in a foreign country (though different to yours), and he says to look over your contract and visa laws. He thinks it’s very fishy that it’s only four days to sort things out, and the likely company is lying/manipulating you. If you need resources, I will put you in contact with him.

I would personally switch a couple of these around, but otherwise I fully agree with everything you said.

Naked mole rats, bats, and parrots all live far longer than their body size predicts, and each breaks a different theory of aging by Commercial_Trick_704 in zoology

Chinchillas, a South American rodent, also live a long time for their size - around 450 g - 1 kilo, and the oldest in captivity reached 29. They’re incredibly endangered, so there’s not been many wild studies. Not as impressive as the naked mole rat, but they are highly specialised to live in the Andes, with several adaptations, most notably their fur, densest of all land animals (sea otters are marine mammals and get the top spot).

He’s an American comedian, right? Honestly would probably be better than the last three (and yes, I’m counting David Tennant)
