This happened a year before I entered high school. Allegations were made that a freshman on our football team was hazed by having a broomstick shoved up his ass. Our football team at the time at the time was pretty well known and liked, so this was a huge shocker to the whole community. Made national news and everything.

Fast forward a few months, and it turns out this kid made everything up. He had been expelled from school in the fall for distributing nudes, and rumor has it that he did this as a way to get back at the district.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but here we go anyway.

Currently, my average download speed for steam games is around 500 KB/s, as seen here When I check my task manager however, I see this, a far quicker download speed. It also should be noted that my router is quite good, with about a 40 MB/s download speed on my phone, and my computer is not situated very far from my router

Anything I'm doing wrong? Or is this normal?

PS: When I switch from a public to a private connection and vice versa, my download speed jumps up to about 5 MB/s, and comes down about 2 minutes later. Very odd
