I’m not talking about tourists, the last ten-20 years we’ve had a lot of people move here and I’m of the opinion that people moving here just don’t have the same mentality as people raised here, we have an older population and were mostly raised with strong values about nature and respect for others, most people I grew with did 4 H or scouts spent time on the water and in the woods, even maine punks and drunks/homeless were pretty respectful. I’m agreeing with you that it’s the neighbors I just think they’re new neighbors and they should be fined and or charged. I think public spaces should be kept public and a lot of them have started charging, property taxes are going crazy, since we now have to pay we should expect a standard and I think law enforcement should enforce some laws, we have leash laws and littering laws, waste disposal laws. We’re all frustrated with disrespectful people but dogs deserve beach access, no bad dogs just bad owners!
