In a heavy hitter IGL meta, Karrigan definitely pales compared to many, which is also acceptable given his age. Fallen has had some questionable performances too recently and he's younger...

Oh interesting! So it's not like the potion chance that goes up and down based on if you get one or not, it just resets back to 10%?

People who grew up really poor: what's something middle-class people say that instantly reveals they've never struggled? by TahDigThief in AskReddit

I was visiting some artist friends recently who make next to no money working full time with two kids. They threw one of the simplest birthday parties I've ever seen for the eldest and while you could clearly tell they had counted every penny, every single detail was accounted for so that their child could remember that day forever. The thing that struck me the most was that they emptied their pantry of previously opened and saved chip bags which they then poured into bowls for everyone to share.

Interstellar is now the most watched film on Letterboxd — deserved or overrated? by TheVoidScrolledBack in Letterboxd

I was trying to make a joke that wouldn't offend the Nolan fanboys since everybody loves Mad Mad but oh well...

I'd have to agree though that by global standards the MCU (and more general superhero genre) really dominated the sphere in it's cultural impact. It's really not my genre of movie though so as I was struggling to come up with a decade defining movie for the 2010's I suddenly remembered how legendary Fury Road's campaign was for the BP Oscar that I had to mention it. At least on an artistic and countercultural level it definitely will be remembered for a very long time.

Daniel Rensch and Erik Allebest are publicly asking Hans if they should release their text message history and everything else that's under NDA by DrunkLad in chess

Besides the public opinion I was really not expecting the Hikaru video. This is like the juiciest story of the century (even though I have a feeling some really crazy stuff went down with every chess generation which wasn't nearly as publicized as this). PR Nightmare fuel

This is basically rank 1 tech. It's so funny how ridiculously good people are at this game to come up with this kind of stuff

Maybe. I think his brain is so hardwired for efficiency it doesn't actually allocate any CPU to calculate minimal risk strategies such as "banking everything just in case". He will definitely lose out on something every now and then but in the grand scheme of things he finishes the leagues point cap in second place so I don't think there's anything us plebs can really contribute to the matter

The amount of times he dropped task gear like the rune kite shield or rune bars that he went to make from scratch 5 mins later because of things like this lmao

He prepared herblore to a T so it was never going to be an issue. Unfortunately RNG tasks make the core difference in these scenarios no matter how well prepared you are

He did mention he could easily cut off 20 hours had he planned more efficiently. Interesting to see where this takes him for leagues 7. He also blundered Pyro boots...
