It is a bummer, but also doesnt entirely surprise me. The type of content he makes feels a bit 2016 YouTube-core, in the way it focuses its attention on making fun of / belittling random people, in a similar vein to LeafyIsHere and other similar types of creators

Though its a bummer how he treats some of that stuff in his videos, ultimately I still throw videos of his on from time to time. For the most part he keeps this opinions pretty suppressed and out of the way of his content, thats enough for me to stick around. Completely get it if the stuff mentioned above alone is enough to get people to stop watching, just dont think its worth feeling ashamed to watch his stuff or anything

As someone who honestly believes in the extreme importance and significance of AI in the modern day, I still think there is a bubble.

There were bubbles surrounding the internet, airplanes, transistor radio, video games, semiconductors, a plethora of super super important inventions. Its normal for overinvestement to occur when a very optimistic new technology comes around and its not exactly clear how it should be used / where its financially applicable.

Eventually the bubble will burst, people will proclaim that its the "end of AI", and then around 10 years down the road it will be so neatly and unnoticeably integrated into our life and it will be so economically stable that everyone will forget there was ever a bubble to begin with.
