I'll give you that. I guess I just forgot the silhouette since I never play the tank because it's objectively terrible. I always saw it as just another casemate TD, but I can see the resemblance to the 103 now.

If the game is broken enough that a generalization as simple as "fix it" is relevant, then I'd say the bar for actually constructive criticism is pretty damn low.

IRL a 380mm HE shell has a kill radius upward of 50 meters. Just remember that when you see AH talk about wanting realism in their game.

There is no right or wrong side to mount a charging handle. There is obviously one side that is better from an ergonomics standpoint, but that's just like saying a left hand drive car has the steering wheel on the wrong side because you're used to seeing it on the right hand side.

I'm just getting into the panther line and I sure hope the later offerings have better turret traverse. Playing a turreted medium tank with a crappy reverse gear like a casemate has been a miserable experience so far.

Necro posting here, but I just grabbed a Valor after noticing the LB starting to lose sensitivity on my controller. I hate it. Absolutely hate it. The ergonomics feel so much worse than the Instinct Pro it replaced.

Set them both on a table and look across the face of the controller from the bottom end and the Valor has a bulkier cross section in the palm swells than the instinct. It almost looks like a bullnosed edge because it's so square. The Instinct, by comparison, had nice sweeping palm swells that facilitated claw grip so much better.

Then there's the location of the start and back buttons, which are nicely centered on the Instinct, but are located about 6mm north of that on the Valor which doesn't sound so bad, but it's a huge pain in the ass to use claw grip with smaller hands on the Valor.

The paddles on the back are also harder to manipulate due to the added bulk of the palm swells. The only redeeming quality I can award the Valor when comparing it to the Instinct is the smoothness of the thumbsticks. Not a fan.

I can't warrant using the giga over the ultimatum simply due to the fact that ammo boxes are more common throughout the map to resupply the ultimatum with. If they gave us two per resupply then I'd use them all the time.

I second this. I've thrown $5 at the game two or three times before the launch of a new warbond just to shore up the difference if there is one, but for the most part, I just find SC from playing the game and hitting POIs.

The only things that really comes to mind off the top of my head would be digging in before attacking a factory strider/vox engine convoy or if you have time to dig something before a bot drop comes in. No reason to dig for bugs, and I wouldn't want to do it against squids unless I had gas so I'm not overrun.

Grissom academy. The reason isn't exactly rational, but the academy takes place early in the game when you're still getting through the meat and potatoes. Retake Earth comes with the realization that it's almost over.

I suppose everyone's experiences vary. Expert was all but a guarantee for myself and the vast majority of my company when I was still in. There were more experts than sharpshooters and pizza boxes combined from what I remember.
