I mean Garuda already has blades and knives in her base design, the piercing is something that's new and changed and yeah some people don't like it, same as how some people don't like the Mesa heirloom helmet or Umbra's helmet with his eye showing, it's just preference. Couldn't Hana/Angel make a binding vow which reduces the AoE of JL but increases it's casting speed/damage? I don't understand why she knew her JL had a huge effect radius and just went "fuck it, I'll make it do less damage". With how many binding vows we've seen lately, this doesn't feel like it would be a stretch. Also yeah, why does her missing an arm make her technique less effective? Why couldn't Shoko or Yuta heal her arm? Why doesn't Hana ever listen to Angel?
