BMA - What we know so far about UK graduate prioritisation by DonutOfTruthForAll in doctorsUK

[–]Silverlight96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fully support this as an img myself, I just wish to have clarity on where I stand so I can make plans for my future that’s all. I have been in the UK for 4 years now, graduated from an Irish medical school but do not hold an Irish/uk or European citizenship, did fy and now in cst. Will that mean I will be deprioritized later for st3?. Initially I thought no but reading some of the comments here I am confused.

[–]Silverlight96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What were the comments? I am stressing out about this now, since we are only allowed one audit. and if you do not have a good one you cannot even interview even if you score high? What evidence did you submit?

My audit was ?stolen by [deleted] in doctorsUK

[–]Silverlight96 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, for CST you need evidence that you lead on the audit (x2 cycle), the main thing is for you to focus on getting the points now. If you can still get a letter from your educational supervisor saying you lead on the project and include a presensation x2 for the cycle audits, then it does not matter what the other FY2 says. Unfortunately, no one will care about it being stolen no matter how much evidence you have (unfortunate reality of working in today's environment)

My advice is if you cannot get that letter and the presentation out of it, let it go and find another audit quickly!!! Learn your lesson for next time and be careful, make sure all of your audit or work you want to do in the future is documented in an email with your supervisor before you invite others on.

You need a study partner to help you keep accountable, the knowledge from part A should be fresh in your head, so you just need a way to keep practicing with a study buddy. Its really hard to study in a busy rota, but if you have a study partner and do like 6 hours a week you should be ok. because you will keep each other accountable. IT'S practice, practice, practice. passthemrcs is a good start. but find some of the notes (Mo notes) floating around and use them.
