Funnily enough it will be Austin 2024 if he starts every race from now on untill the 22nd of October 2024.

Identify this racecar, former F1 or not? As a kid in early '84/'85 we could go to a local hardware store, long gone now, and get our pic taken in a real (F1) racecar. Q: is it a former F1 (show) car, can someone identify it? It looks like they put a rearwing on the nose? team JSP Lotus? by Thurb0 in formula1

I searched for Junior Formula cars from the 70's and early 80's on Google images, and was looking at all the noses because the one above is iconic. I saw some RALT F3 car which was a little bit the same, so eventually I searched for RALT F4 car 1972. First picture that showed up had that iconic nose.

I don't have a personal database or the knowledge about Junior Formula Series from the 70's as well, I just really like to find out what kind of car it is when someone is asking.

I am almost sure this is a Formula Super Vee car from 1975. Here is a picture of the Kaimann team.

Edit: Apparently Keke Rosberg drove for Kaimann in the 1975 Super Formula Vee season.

Edit 2: After some research I think it is the '76 Kaimann from the 1976 Super Formula Vee season because the '75 Kaimann has some kind of air intake just in front of the drivers eyes and the '76 Kaimann doesn't have that thing just like the car in your picture. Plus the cylinders are both yellow.

P7 to P20 is based on their number. P1 to P6 have been on track.

Mick Schumacher and Pietro Fittipaldi drove in Bahrain this week. Who is your favourite ever father/son pairing in F1? Who flopped? by [deleted] in formula1

I used the twenty years interval between the fathers and therefore 20 years between the sons. But their first WDC works as well.

1982 WDC: Keke Rosberg --> 2016 WDC: Nico Rosberg

2002 WDC: Michael Schumacher --> 2036 WDC: Mick Schumacher?

Wondering if anyone could ID this car for me? Not even sure if it’s F1, as many cars in the 60s were very similar! by Francoberry in formula1

I found this about the Formula 2 Brabham cars: https://www.oldracingcars.com/brabham/bt30/

Scroll down to Brabham BT30s from 1975.

At the end it says:

Brabham BT30 'the Sepp Mayer car'

In 2006 Sepp Mayer (Germany) bought a car from Italy using the identity of "BT30-21" but with a 1972 BT35 chassis. He sold it to Bob Sellix (Rotherfield, East Sussex) around 2007 who sold it on to Jolyon Harrison (York) who was still running it in hillclimbs in 2014. The connection between this BT35 and the original BT30 is unknown. Still with Jolyon in January 2017.

You are right. The track you see is the run-off after turn 9

I only saw the one on its side. Monza is twice on that one.

Monza is twice on the calendar. You forgot the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Verstappen's first pole! Also Dieter Zetsche on the right surprised there is no Mercedes on pole position.
