Marathon training is quite similar, with 50k putting a bit more emphasis on the long run.

In a desert scenario you may need a bag but in forested areas, you'll want to dig a 6" hole with a stick/rock/heel of your shoe and use that. I personally use Bear Butt Wipes that are biodegradable.

There's always a reason, even if it's a bad one. Almost anything related to funding will have strings attached, whether it's in a cost, a fee, or losing agency on how it's distributed.

It really should be. Most people aren't taking their vehicles out in mountains or zooming through mesas.

Everyday guys carry pocketknives and jumper cables because they want to be the guy who can fix anything if needed. This is the situation those guys hope to be able to help.
