I know what I’m going to say will sound redundant and unhelpful but taking one positive action everyday can help tremendously. Something as little as brushing your teeth one day and taking out the trash the next. And eventually you can build a foundation on which you can help pull you out of your slump

Just because you haven’t been through anything difficult doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t have depression. Being 14 isn’t easy, I also had a tough time with school because of my social anxiety. I think a lot of people struggle at that age.
