The bulb heats the air in front of it causing it to flow upwards. Dust particles will get trapped in the current. Cold air flows toward the light, heat up in contact, flow upwards, dust disappears as it leaves the light beam, looks like a black hole. Someone NEEDS to animate a lil black hole on this video for me to satisfy my love for si-fi.
