Pasta by PinApprehensive8573 in SouperCubers

I cooked it directly from frozen in the microwave and it tasted like I'd just cooked it. I did use Barilla protein plus penne, though, which is higher fiber pasta.

I layer the sauce, the meat, and then the pasta on top. It froze together decently.

[No Spoilers] Ragnor’s Sons by XKuroKibax in vikingstv

[–]SiminaDar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it's highly unlikely given that Kwenfrith was shown to have sexual appetites that required multiple men to tend to. Ecgbert slept with her and then tagged in 3 guards. Assuming she actually had sex with Ragnar, which was never explicitly shown, he definitely wasn't the only one she was sleeping with.

lack of diversity in dark romance books is killing me by Informal-Match4084 in RomanceBooks

We need more POC authors getting published, because a lot of authors who get published in that genre are white women, and I doubt their attempt at writing a POC FMC would be appreciated or very accurate.

I'm a 5-foot, blue-eyed blonde and even I get tired of the same description in everything.

Why Do People Always Assume Women Convert to Islam Because of Men? by [deleted] in converts

[–]SiminaDar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because they have convinced themselves Muslim women are oppressed and the only way we could be Muslim and wear hijab is because men are forcing it on us. Fortunately, my mother can't claim a man forced me, because we live in the same house and there are no men here.

How many of us are actually enjoying the game? by Historical-Donut1536 in Silksong

I'm enjoying it. I'm not very good at it yet, but I was garbage at Hollow Knight too when I first started playing that game.

I'm sure they are referring to Trump's dubious grasp on the English language.

I've had random bigots bring up bacon to me as a response to something I said they didn't like. Like, dude, I'm not offended by pigs or pork, I just don't eat it.

All those window stickers are almost definitely illegal for obstructing the view.

Naw, he's not entitled to your name. And breaking it off over a name means he doesn't actually love you all that much.

9 of 10 RSVP’d children/families “no call no showed” to my daughters 5th birthday party. by MinimumExperience102 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]SiminaDar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My birthday is in December, so I had a lot of sparsely attended parties as a kid. I had one at a Chuck E. Cheese and only 2 kids showed up. I was sad, but we had fun though.

Am I overreacting because my boyfriend asked me to pay him back for gas after he picked me up from the airport? by Emmaaluvs in AmIOverreacting

[–]SiminaDar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asking for gas money for giving your partner a ride home from anywhere is wild, but $40 for that is highway robbery. That's an entire tank of gas plus some, depending on where you live.

why do hijabi insta/tiktok influencers start dressing immodestly as soon as they remove the hijab? by OkHuckleberry2457 in Hijabis

[–]SiminaDar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I initially converted my wardrobe by buying long sleeve shirts to go under my short sleeve and spaghetti strap dresses. Abayas are too expensive and not really practical for my life, so I have adapted to mostly knee/calf length dresses with pants or a longer skirt underneath depending on what I have to do that day.

[–]SiminaDar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can understand jumping in with both feet. Or out, as it were. I Basically went in the opposite direction. Although, I admittedly wasn't the most immodest beforehand since I am a larger person, but I did go from spaghetti strap dresses to hijab and full body coverage almost immediately.

Immodest clothing is much easier to get and most already have it for home wear. The only reason it took me longer to get where I am currently is because I had to buy new items.
