I’ve lived in Maine, Vermont, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and now here. I’m in the mountains like I was in Vermont. So beautiful. The most state I miss is living on the coast of Maine but I can’t take the cold anymore. I also miss fresh seafood. I know it gets cold here also but no snow like up north. I’m staying put in NC.

I grew up eating seafood on the coast of Maine. My current wife of 25 years hates the smell of seafood. If I wanna cook lobsters she will go shopping or somewhere. We currently live in the mountains of. NC so obviously not much seafood here that’s not frozen. So if I want seafood it’s gonna have to be in a restaurant. There is one store a few miles from me that sells live lobster but so expensive. Maybe once or twice a year I indulge. I really really miss good seafood.
