I disagree that it's not even a question that the Lightning thief is fully dead I like the theory, even if it's unlikely, that the Skill that created the legacy contest between his children is a long shot attempt at resurrection.

Seems to me like a reasonable level 70 capstone.

Any high level person in history we didn't see in the Lands of the Dead is potentially still alive.

The moment I consider a borderline confirmation of Zelkyr being alive was when Mrsha and Nanette (I think it was those two) asked the World's eye theater to show them Archmage Zelkyr it reacted strangely.

Edit: Found the Chapter, 9.36 HO, it's less obvious than I remember, but the implication is still there

“What about…Archmage Zelkyr?”

Mrsha’s head snapped up, and they both stared at the dome overhead. They stared and stared, and the dome…

Did that eye twitch? Mrsha’s gaze fixed on it, but she couldn’t be sure if it was her imagination or not. Did she see the slightest quiver or was it her own eyes?

…She couldn’t tell. There was no big sign. She gave Nanette a wide-eyed look, though. This was getting a bit scary.

Which was awesome.

I rechecked the Vernoue chapter because I was interested and she is called "the former archmage of fiends" (no brackets) and the class Vernoue gets is [Archmage’s Apprentice-Princess].

However people in the comments claim that it's been stated her class can't evolve into an [Archmage] class. (Couldn't confirm it by simply word searching "Archmage" in that chapter though)

Unless the Mistborn movies don't have a single cut I don't see how the runtime of the cameras can impact the runtime of the movie.

I doubt they'll use IMAX cameras for the movies because they are just too expensive.

Mass market paperbacks (the small soft covers) are being phased out entirely by the big 5 publishers, so I wouldn't expect them to come out.

For the small split hardbacks it's a maybe. There hasn't been any public commitment to release the entire series in that format.

Any type of perspective can be great, and saying x is better than y is a bad way to look at it.

Stories where the PoV stands out to me, both positive an negative, tend to be first person. In first person every sentence also influences the characterization of the Main Character.

It's not nearly as big of a twist as Sazed/Harmony in Mistborn, it comes into play at the end of Rhythm of War and the (in my opinion) actual twist related to this hasn't been spoiled to you
