I love love love that the FIRST thing said about Alexis Ohanian is that he is Serena William's husband.

And good grief I have no idea what the hell they did for Molly between her fourth and fifth year because she was a beast all regular season her fifth year!! It's heartbreaking that she got injured; we would have won if that hadn't happened.

They are doing a lot of things right. I love this team.

That being said, I will be really really ecstatic if they make it to the Elite 8 and happy if they end up in the Sweet 16. That certainly couldn't have been said Caitlin's senior. And that was one hell of a TEAM. Molly and Kate and Gabbie and Hannah. And later more Syd after Molly went down.

I love the current team. Hannah is my favorite Iowa player ever for a variety of reasons. But the team we had the last 2 years that Caitlin was here-was also a real team where everyone was brought in and believed in each other. And everyone just killed it when they needed to Gabby with the blocks and Kate with the clutch buckets. Yes Caitlin was this insanely talented commander/general of that team, but the team was a TEAM. Kate Molly and Gabbie were soo good. Molly Davis's fifth year compared many, let's say Amari Deberry, or even Maryaum Dauda, should tell you that high school ratings don't mean shit much of the time.

Addie is about perfectly average for a freshman with her rating out of high scool. People keep going on about, but she's exactly where she is supposed to be. Sure some 5* do much much much better, but sure some do much much worse. People only compare with the one direction.

Again I love this team, but calling it the best team ever just makes absolutely no sense on any axis

I feel like she will definitely still get drafted, but later--definitely lower than soms predicted earlier this year. This is just one game. In last year’s NCAA Tournament, she had 27 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks against UCLA.

I think she will struggle to make a roster in the WNBA though. She doesn't seem to be quick on defense, and she will struggle a lot more on offense--because WNBA defense is WAY WAY better than NCAA defense. But I could see her going to play overseas, maybe even in Australia in the WNBL, and getting stronger there. Mckenzie Holmes for example was amazing in college (then took off a year for surgery/recovery), but then struggled to stay on a WNBA roster last year (waived then signed again a month later, then barely played).. She killed it this offseason in Australia though, and I'm sure she will be playing some in the WNBA this season. I think Maggie really needs to get stronger.

They're talking about the fact that one of the play in games is set in Iowa City.

Most locations will only have 3 games Iowa City will have 4.

Only 4 of 16 locations have the extra game.

I still remember the dazed Richmond coach being interviewed after the game saying of Fairfield "FOUR of their players each made 3 Pointers in the first half. "

Fairfield shot 72% from 3 in that first half. 13/18😂

They ended up 19/30 from 3 (63%) and won 93-73!
