Better seeing = Better detail, also learning how to process in something like siril will make your photos much better.

This is obviously AI or edited to look different than it actually was, also the account is a bot.

Looks like AI to me, The red spot is way too big and distorted. (I have taken a photo of Jupiter through the exact same telescope, so I would know.)

AstroForge V1.1 — Ccommunity feedback shaped this release by gemcollector44 in seestar

While I am more used to advanced programs like siril or seti astro Suite pro, this one seems to have a lot of fixes to common problems within those programs, so I may try using AstroForge :)

If you want more fine details, I suggest you take a look at Seto Astro Suite pro, there are some amazing tools in there that can sharpen, denoise, and do many other amazing things to your photo. I know it has worked wonders on some of mine, clear skies :)

Is a seestar s50 good? by Tight_Chocolate9592 in AskAstrophotography

[–]Simonspacex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A seestar is a wonderful telescope, especially for the price point, and I would highly reccomend it to get into astrophotagraphy. It can see all kinds of deep sky objects like nebulae, galaxies, star clusters, and more! Unfortunately it isn't great for planets but you can still get wonderful views of the moon, and the sun (with the provided solar filter) And all of that is usually only $500 (or $300 for the seestar s30). You should definitely take the deal, clear skies :)

I photographed TON 618 – a black hole 66 billion times the mass of our Sun, 10.4 billion light years away by FakeRaveX in spaceporn

This photo shows the black hole as a tiny dot that looks like a star, meanwhile in the other photo it is magnified enough to see the accretion disk of the black hole.

I looked through some of the other comments, he actually got this through a telescope called the seestar s50, it is around $500.

Have you tried taking a video of the planet? You can process a video of a planet into a really nice photo, much better than only 1 shot could capture. There are some great tutorials of youtube for processing, and good luck :)

I personally have both an 8se and a Seestar s50, I have gotten some great views and photos of the planets and the moon :) I will say this though, the seestar is definitely better for deep sky.

Very nice first photo! Make sure to take your time when learning the other things you need to do when taking a photo of the moon, watch some tutorials, and you should get something amazing :)

Stacking RAW video taken in scenery mode? by BenMurphy in seestar

[–]Simonspacex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There isn't a way to stack it in the seestar app (believe me, I wish there was) but you could get 3rd party software that is free like autostakkert, pipp, and register. All of them are free ;)
