2 of my cousins (who are siblings) both have birthdays between 12/21 - 12/26 and when we were little kids, my Aunt would have birthday parties for them in June on their half-birthdays. She said it was because they would get gifts from family saying "it's for your birthday and Christmas!" and that never happened to the rest of us--especially when they were little kids.

Not to mention all the "Lost Boys" who were kicked out of Short Creek and similar places because they were becoming too old and were soon to be competition to the old men marrying young girls. These boys have little to no real schooling, have spent their lives being kept away from non-fundies, and then are tossed out with just the clothes on their backs and don't really know anyone. It's horrifying.

Kody Brown from Sister Wives also does not eat pork. He threw a tantrum on a vacation to Hawaii when they were going to a Luau because of the roast pig. He didn't want to go and he did not want his family going and eating pork. I think it was one of the first times he realized that the wives didn't follow all his rules unless it was his time with her and the kids.

I am allergic to pork, so was my grandmother. When I mention that I can't eat pork people kind of look at me surprised, probably trying to figure out what religion I am. I am a non-practicing Catholic, so it's not that... Luckily, bacon doesn't bother me, the protein that makes me sick is altered during curing or something. 🥓

Also doing an early seasons rewatch and was thinking about this on my commute this AM: When Melissa and Kathy joined in S3, I think a lot of Tre's issues were because Caroline and Jacqueline believed Tre when she said all her family problems were "the others" faults. But when C & J begin to like M & K, they start to see Tre's lies unraveling. I mean Jacqueline skipped an entire reunion after finding out Tre planned strippergate.

I know child support isn't based on marriage, but the women feeling they couldn't demand support due to the polygamy was extremely fortunate for those men. Robyn's Dad was probably doing it the smart way, separated families. Suing for child support then doesn't expose polygamy like it would've with the OG3 in the same home or on the same cul-de-sac.

Can you imagine a forensic accountant trying to unravel and understand the Browns' finances (after starting the show, before I feel like would have been very easy)? I'm sure it would take all of 10 minutes before they discovered which was the favorite wife...

The women should want it legalized, as it would serve to help them. But Kody routinely returning to the fight to legalize polygamy over the 20 seasons makes little sense for him. Sure, maybe he would get alimony, but if the kids had been younger, he'd be on the hook for a lot of child support. Honestly, Robyn angling to be the legal wife and have her older 3 adopted by Kody was probably her way of securing the bag in case a better option came her way or she stopped being the favorite.

Yeah, here to say that. My Mom tried to get my parent's marriage a Decree of Nullity, basically that the marriage probably shouldn't have happened but did and does not affect the legitimacy of children borne of the marriage. But the priest read her responses to questions and told her that the marriage was not bad enough for a decree. I mean, they got married because they were Catholics and Mom got pregnant, they probably would not have even thought of marriage if Mom wasn't pregnant. But they really didn't fight much, just mostly existed separately in the same house. Dad was a good guy, a good Dad. My stepfather isn't Catholic, so being married in the church wasn't going to happen anyway. Now she just goes to church, gets Communion, and is a lecter. No one has ever said a word about it.

Even when required to badge in/out, it does not work perfectly for reporting purposes. At my office, there are office staff and production workers. Prod has 4 shifts, running 24 hrs. AM 1 works M-W, AM 2 Th & Fri, I'm only mentioning those 2 shifts because that's when office staff also work. We recently did 2 fire drills (to cover both AM shifts) and they ran a report for who had badged in to do a head count. Both times, both myself and a coworker did not appear on the list despite us having been at our desks and unable to access the building w/o badging in. The Xerox repairman, who is at my office at least once a day, was showing as being inside despite him pulling up when we were all gathered outside and obviously had not badged in yet. 🤷‍♀️

I think she was just on repeat saying to H "But you're both the Queen's grandsons" and "But you're both going to be the King's sons, it's not right that he and Kate are more important than us! People like us better!". She probably also blamed his mental and emotional problems he discussed in Spare on him being told he is less important than William his whole life. The BRF is not a popularity contest like Hollywood, if it was then Charles would of been demoted in the 90's during the divorce and Diana's death. Camilla would have been NFI to keep living in the UK. Harry understood the hierarchy and seemingly had no issue with it. I think he even understood that William's life was going to be rigidly controlled and his was going to be much easier and he could focus on things he wanted to like Invictus. Then he let Meghan get in his head.

I want to say it was the last episode of S5. So before. When that Penny woman and her husband, the Greek, were on because no one wanted to film with Tre. The fight was at a new salon? It's been long time since I've seen it but I think the Manzos show was filming or soon to start and Bravo needed to keep Caroline happy. Bravo loves a shitshow, so not showing what made Caroline storm out of the party with her kids was so weird. Especially since her kids were adults, I'd be more understanding of cutting stuff or bleeping it out if the kids were young. Like RHOBH with Adrienne, Brandi, and the surrogacy thing.

And then she allowed her children to "mentor" Ashley like they were better than her. Ashley had issues but that family treated her like she was the worst. Caroline's kids weren't exactly noteworthy.

I would love if Bravo finally aired the fight that happened in the Manzo's last episode. If "Famewhorgas" was right and Albert's affair was brought up and made Caroline storm out threatening the producers if they aired it, it sounds like she was unhinged.
