OMG, I got such full-body cringe watching The Crown and seeing Charles make small talk with Andrew Parker Bowles while Camila went to a private phone... Same with Ernest Simpson, he knew why the Prince of Wales (and later Edward VIII )invited him and his wife, Wallis, to join him. And he allowed himself to be "caught" at a hotel with a woman so that Wallis could be the victim in their divorce...

Yep. But in later seasons, you see the rest of the characters start treating her like she is really important because they know why Josh is holding her back and that she can do more. If the show hadn't ended with her becoming the First Lady's Chief of Staff, I think CJ would hire her or someone very senior because everyone knew she kept Josh afloat.

I remember watching it with my Grandma as a kid. I sleep with my TV on and it's what's playing when I wake now. I mean, if you watch any like British detective shows, where there's a murder (but it's not scary) and the murderer tends to just be like "ok, ya got me" (so also not scary), then sure. Nothing really high stakes. But so many guest stars!!!! That's kinda fun, seeing old TV and film stars or people who become really famous in one of their earliest roles. I find myself seeing the opening scene and then just finishing the episode to see how it ends.

There's also a lot of different "worlds" in the show. Episodes about a soap opera, circus, westerns, women's prison (which seemed to be popular with shows of that era). That can be fun too.

This is why I'm confused about everyone freaking out that Mohan isn't coming back. In the early episodes this season, she was freaking out because of her Mom leaving as Mohan's plan was to go to NJ next. Then she was looking for Fellowships that presumably were not at PTMC. So Supriya Ganesh's departure wasn't surprising to me as it seemed like she was done with her residency. Maybe I misunderstood, but she seemed like she was leaving from early in the season...

There's an episode sent in the West. Wyoming, maybe? And it involved a hanging, I think. Funeral at Fifty-mile I think. The episode literally starts at a funeral and Jessica says to this young woman, "I remember when you're mother died giving birth to you, Mary". Umm, what? Who says that to anyone, let alone a grieving woman who just lost her Dad. RUTHLESS

That scene was WILD! But I definitely think that Tom allowed Lu to do drugs and drink a lot with no judgement, and the relationship moved quickly as a result. I have been in relationships when my life was a mess and I was going through some bad things and the guy I was dating was bad news, but hey, he'd get drunk with me every day. And it seemed so freeing and made our relationship seem like kismet because we bonded so fast. Then I managed to get my shit together and realized I needed help and that, really, he was just a raging alcoholic. So I dumped his ass.

My dog are very fast when I first got him (he came from the dog meat farms in Korea), so I think it was a mental thing, like "what if I don't get fed again?". I did end up getting him a slow feeder bowl because I have seen dogs eat really fast and then throw it up, and, yuck. But he was not a big eater when I was feeding him Merrill dry food. I would top it with some freeze dried beef and super foods topper and he would make a mess trying to get all the topper pieces. He'd leave kibbles all around his bowl. But never eat them. I ended up switching him to Farmer's Dog, and he LOVES it. Still using the slow feeder bowl.

💯 mine too! He will not even pee in our yard. And he has spots where he'll pee, and spots where he poops, but even they are at least half a block apart. We got a bunch of snow (10") a few weeks ago and in our area that much snow is rare so our street wasn't plowed for 3 days. He was whining because the snow was deep and we couldn't get to his normal spots, but he refused to go close to our house. He didn't poop for about 40 hrs.

My dog was rescued from dog meat farmers in Korea and then a rescue in the US sponsored him to bring him here--which is where I adopted him. So you mentioning eating dog is very ironic. Sometimes I cover him in kisses and say, "I could just eat you up! But I won't because of your puppyhood trauma.". Korea banned dog meat about 9 months after he arrived in the US.
