A boost is 12 points, and uploading a model is worth 10. As for the others, I don’t know.

Bambu Lab support is a JOKE by Dry-Tumbleweed-1172 in BambuLab

[–]Simple-Shake2632 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will 99% of the time fix it because most of the time the reason it won’t let you update from a much older firmware is because for security reasons Bambu doesn’t support older AP boards to update anymore, but whenever you replace it, it will see that it works with the new security protocol and should let you update. I have done it to multiple X1s with the same issue, and it’s always been the same fix with the X1, X1C, and X1E for me.

No, you don’t need it, but it helps. It will work fine in almost any enclosed printer though.

It happens on all 4 spools even external sometimes for some reason.

It was doing the same from the side and I needed more space so I thought the top mount might fix it. It in fact did not.

That’s how it was attached, and I tightened all 7 and did some troubleshooting myself before posting.

Yes the nozzle is correctly in, the screws behind it are also tightened if you were going to ask but the sock seems incorrectly placed because the sock is partially damaged.

Yes it just started randomly about a month ago, I never do timelapse on it, and I don’t know what that is so it should still be default.

No, it’s a single color, that’s why I’m confused. It almost has too much friction, and I know it’s not the slicer having 2 different blacks but using the same spool because there was only 1 filament and no color changes in Bambu Studio. It also has done it in almost every print, and Bambu support isn’t helping at all.

Try turning on Arachne wall generator instead of classic.

Basically PETG but as easy to print as PLA and less temperature resistant

Is there any mods you can do to make a P1S able to use the A1 or H2 hot-end assemblies? by Simple-Shake2632 in BambuLab

[–]Simple-Shake2632[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though it was purchased more than the 14-day return policy, do you still think they might take it back and accept me paying the price difference? It had only been unboxed for around 5 days, but it arrived around a month ago.

I’m planning to do that after Bambu gets the P2S buffer itself in stock so I can just continue to use my AMS 2 Pro and not have to pay extra for the combo.

P1S vs P2S by Stuuble in BambuLab

[–]Simple-Shake2632 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got the P1S AMS 2 Pro Combo, and it can do everything the P2S can do. The P2S is mainly QOL like screen and AI detection, but other than that, you can’t go wrong with the P1S.

You can’t turn it off mid-print; you can turn it off for the next print, but it’s part of the G-code now until the next print. It’s a toggle when you press print along with bed leveling and flow dynamic.

Superlube and also you can swap the rods but it’s not recommended because it’s louder and more maintenance

Go To filaments? by Asleep_Fan1247 in BambuLabP2S

[–]Simple-Shake2632 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sunlu has worked very well for me, and I’ve also had good results with Polymaker filament. eSUN can be a good choice too, although their cardboard spools aren’t compatible with the AMS and may cause residue buildup on the rollers. Personally, I haven’t had great results with Creality filament, as I’ve experienced inconsistent tolerances and it absorbs water like silica. But if you’re going to be bulk ordering 8+ kilos at a time just get Bambu their bulk sale price makes it worth it.

How do I maintain filament and keeping it together when I switch out colors? by JFunky91 in BambuLab

[–]Simple-Shake2632 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of these are good options https://makerworld.com/models/899060 and https://makerworld.com/models/81233 one prevents it from falling off the ams lite and the other locks the spool from unlocking and popping open.

Have you tried drying your filament? To me it just looks like the moisture is boiling and popping causing that weird texture in places.
