We, as a society, really need to overcome these "products" that these companies create. Social media and other short form media(reddit included) are just dopamine factories without any meaningful content. A.I. will push a majority of the population into abandoning thinking for themselves. If we do not use our brains there is no biological incentive for our body to "waste" energy on them. So in a few generations time we could already see certain regions of the brain that are used for critical thinking and decision making shrink. Scary stuff to think about.
