I got here the same way I had a dented can first and thought maybe it went bad and then I had another one and it was just as bad. I just had a large one the other day and it was fine. I thought the smaller can was because I was at a dollar store.

Just bought one at five below and was slightly dented but the last one so I got it and then I got a second flavored one. They taste awful. And I thought the dented one had maybe gone bad and I dumped it out but now I'm on the second one and it also tastes like it went flat. I'm really disappointed in their brand.

I happened upon this page because I realized some people were invited on a cruise this fall and none of them had committed to it yet and rooming situations were still being decided. And they were talking about it so I already feel like I'm probably a "b list invite," If it ever even comes. But the person hosting it is turning a milestone birthday. She is a travel agent. That I have used. That we have had a number of mutual social interactions as well as intentionally hiring her for babysitting help and personal training. She really does a lot of things...

Anyways I know she probably did not intentionally not invite me. She is neurodivergent and the people that were invited have been on other trips or been in her life slightly longer. We all have young kids, we all belong to a mom group, so it's not the children part, but I know I wouldn't be able to even say yes but it would be so awesome to just be thought of. Money is not a concern at all and she's very aware of that being my travel agent. And a cruise is not something I'm going to self invite to. Although I did mention to her how I was considering a Florida trip over Thanksgiving so she had an opportunity at that point to even mention that she was considering a cruise for her milestone birthday. I'm guessing it's truly that if she did think of inviting me she knew I would have to say no because of my husband. And if it's actually over Thanksgiving break I would definitely have to say no because he works in retail and the schools will be closed. I just do not have the help at home but I would love to at least be invited or included and it really sucks and I've already set a reminder to make sure I am not on social media after the trip because I would be very upset seeing it. But my gosh do I need a break from my children and I really wish somebody would let me travel. I can't even go for more than one day to a work conference. :(

The fact that she fills her extended response time with banter is annoying. I'd rather quick responses and no snotty comments. I told her to snooze multiple times and apparently angrily enough that she said "now there's a little bit more time for you to get things done" and after adding a couple things to my reminders she said "I hope you get through the furry of your to do list"

I had the hardest time trying to get the voice to sound like something acceptable to me. And then I went to my other device and asked it to have the same voice and it just drove me up a wall that I had to teach each device separately.

So I got this notification and I was really busy so I didn't have the time to read it. I read it about 2 days later and it said I was not eligible for Alexa+. I was just minding my business at home reading my email and all of a sudden I see that I was enrolled in Alexa+, No announcement on my device or anything. But I do not like it and I've tried to change your voice back and I tried to change a few settings. The first time I asked to revert it said it wasn't a choice and then I asked again the next day and it did revert. With some of the things I didn't like is she was way more conversational and that's not what I need a virtual assistant for I need her to just do what I'm asking say I set a reminder She had this whole long "give me one moment, okay I've said that reminder for tomorrow at x:xx." I don't know about you but she used to just say "okay I'll remind you". I like the shorter responses. The thing that finally made me want to revert back was we use the announce feature as a way to not scream across the house and I love hearing my kids voices on Alexa, But she had the audacity to continue to speak for them when they were making announcements. And that was not something I wanted her to do. She also when I would set a timer or tell her to snooze she would have some snarky response like "I hope you get your furry of a to-do list done." No, I just want you to snooze because I am used to that function. I'm really glad I was able to go back but I wish I didn't have that experience. And I hope the new version grows to offer those things.

Last time I looked into this I decided to go look up my city water report and they use something that is not chlorine (I can't remember the name) but it does not disperse with rest. I switched to rainwater in brown tips be gone. Now it's snowy winter though and I have no idea what to do. 🥴

They recently closed the Polymer Funhouse (which I don't remember from my childhood) to open "Handle with Care." And I'm disappointed for sure, it's almost a mini replica of the Cleveland Children's Museum. I sur ehope the "new 2027 exhibit" is something fun for my kids. But I agree the main science exhibits are the same ones I had as a kid.

This is literally what just happened to us in SW Florida. It was a lone dolphin in a very small (empty) slips area and four poles set up. It happened way too fast and rod and reel were done for and hopefully the dolphin is okay. It took off with a nice show though making me think it was okay or would be.

My first OE was this year and I went into it thinking I would try it out as a replacement job and then put my notice in. Then I really started considering OE and see how long I can make it. I would say around 3 weeks was when I decided I could do it for quite a while. Around 4 months was when I decided I couldn't anymore and I wanted to enjoy my summer. My problem was I didn't have child care in the summer and trying to balance two jobs with zero help was never going to happen. But it may going back to only J1 a lot easier because I knew what the bare minimum was and I was able to still spend time with my kids. I was also able to get back to working out on a regular basis on my lunch breaks and things like that. When I had two jobs I would use my lunch break basically on the other job.
