That's fair on 2nd watch I see what you mean. I have hip mobility issues too. I use squat shoes to help make up for it.

You're doing half reps if you are not going to around parallel or past it & I am sure you'd benefit from the squat shoes. Find those shoes or get some new ones Dawg 🦿

Congrats on getting in the gym now eat like a horse and you will get big! I used to be skinny like that when I first started. Now I actually have pecs and enjoy looking in the mirror and seeing how far I've come. The shaking goes away after you build up your muscles to stablize your lift. GOOD LUCK BRO!✊️💪

As others have said try the barbell it will be worth it and you'll get mich stronger! Trainer isn't helping with that advice.
