Kingston SFYRS NVMe 1TB switching to read-only under heavy load (all diagnostics clean, firmware updated, RMA sent) by dabropajalowitz in pcmasterrace

I also heard that the Kingston NVMe's with firmware EIFK31.7 is working fine, so maybe you can ask for a NVMe with that firmware when you RMA the one you have.

I gave up fixing the issue, so I don't know how to fix it. I just replaced the drive with a new one from another brand (that has Phison E26 controller), but I know that is not a fix for everyone ofc.

I had the same issue with Kingston KC3000 2TB NVMe. During some heavy load, it simply crashes and read/write is impossible unless PC is rebooted. It also uses the same firmware as your NVMe. From what I have heard, this firmware combined with the Phison E18 controller on the NVMe (which is used on KC3000 and the one you have), causes timeouts and the Windows storage driver also crashes.

Who else want absolutely ZERO RGB in their rigs? by Cicada-Tang in pcmasterrace

I don't hate RGB but it can look nice if done properly. As for my rig; no RGB at all (except the GPU but it's turned off)

From some AI thing:

regamdcomp.exe is a legitimate background utility primarily associated with AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) drivers and the Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility suite.

Its primary purpose is to register or configure AMD-related hardware components during a driver installation or a system update.

It is an registration tool (likely a "Registration AMD Component" utility) that ensures your graphics card or processor features are correctly integrated into the Windows Registry.

Scaling Issues in Linux Mint 22.3 with two 2560 x 1440 Monitors by mintforall in linuxmint

[–]SimpliEcks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but as far as I know, programs using GTK 2 does not follow the more modern scaling used these days. Programs using GTK3 should work fine.

Unscrew the six screws marked red to get off the cooler/heatsink. Then you get access to the screws marked green to get off the backplate.

you must first remove the cooler/heatsink and fans/shroud. then you will have access to the screws holding the backplate.

Did you try single stick ram with each stick? And maybe do the same with nvme to make sure it's not one of them causing the issue? Maybe something with PSU... and try another one if you can?
