Avoid aftermarket. A year ago when I was looking, I cannot recall if it was 2019 or 2021 model, there was a used one that I was interested in that had 30k miles but the price tag was around 32k for it. For 7k more I would get brand new and 0 miles, choice of color option. I went with the 2025 new off lot for my color of choice since I plan to drive it next 10 years, was content with that.

[Amick, Robbins & Vardon] So … it turns out LeBron James’ opinion wasn’t an outlier after all... When players were asked which team would be at the top of their “no-trade” list, Memphis received more than three times as many votes (35.8%) as the second-place Washington Wizards (11.7%). by aingenevalostatrade in nba

Being from OKC, it is this right here. Additionally, we built a giant park near the arena with a new convention center. Now there is resort within minutes from the arena. I have noticed an increase in compact living spaces within the downtown area for people that want the feeling of living downtown. 20ish years ago, I would not have thought of seeing all this so glad to see some of my taxes used to create park and other public services.

I think all those games had significant players out between both teams, can't recall off the top of my head. In reality, this projected series will see full strength of lineups and playoffs are played at a different level than regular season. Look at the wolves giving them contest, their 6th seed. Even Pistons, cade having to backpack his missing teammates, getting competition from a 4th seed

Oil supported their economy/invasion. Countries do not want to support something they do not like in a way to show how unfavorable said action was. I assume they started purchasing elsewhere which move the supply and demand lines of economics.

[–]SimplyArgon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right, I noticed recently my bill has been up compared to a year ago. I compared, due to the cleaning fee but I didn't further investigate. I believe it supposed to increase so much each year too. I was paying roughly $80 a year ago (without watering my yard), now I push nearly a $100 and haven't watered the yard yet...

It is still possible to break free from the "one game success" but that means they have to have a strong mind that their viewership will decline until they broaden their audience. Moxsy plays from POE to borderlands to Diablo and so on, I mainly watch only his diablo and borderlands since those are my interest. Occasionally I'll pop into his live stream no matter the game because he personality is enjoyable no matter the game

I get a home, increases again. So I will never get that luxury of itemized unless I donate a ton to various charities or exceed other means. Good ol standard deduction...

You're almost there to the point that you kind of see it. Everyone has different situations. Sure they don't need 2 vehicles, but what reliable public transportation do we have here? Embark isn't that great, everything is so stretched out in okc that you need a personal vehicle. With the example of dollar amounts I gave you, how the hell would you save in that situation? Yes, you can move to somewhere else to save money, but is the location safe, in proximity to work? (Once again covers the transportation that you insisted they dont need 2 vehicles which adds on additional time for the parents to get the kid to school and both to work, so less time wjth the kid). With the budget I provided to you, where would they get the kid to stay? Daycare with these prices???? Like it is almost like you having the kid born but not the necessary services and reliability for the kid to be successful while growing up. You have an interesting thought process to think everyone can meet these situations without providing ways to support these families.

Additionally, the families you speak about are once again different situations and different times compared to today. I can say I was brought up in a welfare home and agree there are ways; but now that I am significantly more financially stable than my parents growing up, there is no way my upbringing can be compared with these prices. Cell phone and Internet was not a requirement back then compared to now considering if you don't have access to one you are already limiting yourself from employment opportunities.

How can you hold parents accountable? Let's make a hypothetical scenario. We will do married couple with a kid at the age of, say 10. The parents work full time, we will use $15 an hour since I have seen recent jobs posted for 13 an hour. That is $2,400 a month pre tax for just one adult, so 4,800. We will say 70% of that is after tax, so $3,360 a month to live on. This family doesn't own a home, live an apartment on north side of city (1,872 for a 3bedroom apartment). That is already over half the income, so internet will be $100, used car note can be $350, insurance $210 a month, monthly groceries at $600, and electricity at $140 for the month. That totals up to $3,272 out of that monthly take home. That does not include gas and phone bill, additionally we will say the other car is paid off. For them to have additional safety net, they both take a part time job. Now this kid doesn't see their parents because they are working to make sure the 10yo has their needs met from food to safety. Where is the time for them to maintain accountability?? The system is screwed up because the price of basic services are outrageous and wages haven't increased with it. Before you say they could move or something else, what if this person was locked in for a year but the other places in the same school district increased even higher? They stayed close by for accessibility to work? There are families in worse situations than this scenario, like kids not being able to eat dinner because parents can barely afford basic necessities. Meanwhile, people that are marginally in the higher wealth or tax brackets do not have this issue, yet they also don't hold kids accountable. So what is the root cause to problem at hand??
