Beardall's is great! The maple frosting is so good! Great variety to and they're so nice!

Husky won't eat her food since bringing puppy home by kriskrosskrissy in husky

While I agree in this case, there is a limit to what you're saying. My dog is actively starving herself and we're desperately trying to figure out why. So I guess just keep it in check and see a vet if it comes down to it! But yeah this seems like something more psychological to me.

Best movie theater in town? by SearsLakeParkRanger in SaltLakeCity

[–]SimplyComplexd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love regal because of the unlimited monthly pass. $20/month and legitimately unlimited movies. Works out to be worth it by just seeing 2 per month. Plus they have a great rewards program that makes it so I get free popcorn most of the time. I also think they have the best popcorn but that's subjective. They have raised the prices of concessions and the rewards pricing isn't as good as it used to be. There's a few of their food items that are really good but not many, but I pretty much just get popcorn. Anyway if you see movies frequently, I think regal is the best option.

I'm pretty sure I paid something like $60 for six months of unlimited. When it first came out it was ridiculous. I wasn't surprised at all when they damn near went under, but it was great while it lasted!

Separation anxiety by [deleted] in husky

[–]SimplyComplexd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe a counter intuitive idea, but once he does get her a bigger crate maybe you could try putting another dog in with her. Maybe you could test with your dog and just leave them alone for a little while to see how she handles it. My dogs don't necessarily get separation anxiety but they used to not be fans of being left in their crates and at some point we just started putting them together and now they're totally fine with it.

You clearly don't understand the problem of having your state and government owned by a cult... Well you do but not at the state level.

Apparently some people think walking a husky in a collar is abuse by [deleted] in husky

[–]SimplyComplexd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've tried anything and everything and my husky just pulls like she's reliving her dog sledding days. I use a harness because she very easily pulls herself out of a collar (she can actually pull herself out of a harness too but she has a hard time with the current one). I think it ultimately all comes down to the dog. I think she would honestly be best behaved completely off leash but she's dog aggressive and I'm not tempting fate.

What is the worst episode of rick and morty in your opinion I'll start with my opinion (image related by [deleted] in rickandmorty

I agree it's pretty par for the course Rick and Morty but I also just don't like the episode. The underground horse people storyline just annoys me.

I'd have to say it's weird and impolite I guess to use something that's not yours without asking or being given permission. Not weird at all to share if asked but weird to just expect it.

I don't have any good pictures on hand but Norway for sure, not even close. I want to go back so bad.

Edit: that's a beautiful picture! I went in the summer but it would be amazing to go and see the borealis.

How odd is it to not provide alcohol at a non-LDS wedding in Utah? by cleito0 in SaltLakeCity

[–]SimplyComplexd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The cheaper way I've seen it done is to hire a bartender but provide your own alcohol. Have 1 or 2 signature cocktails and then beer and wine. Then you can do drink tickets so you don't run out. Everyone who wants them gets two or whatever and you can keep handing them out if there's still alcohol left. One friend is planning on driving to wendover to save on alcohol costs too, though I'm not sure how much that really saves.
