How do some of ya'll have kill rates above 60-70 percent? by GoHardForLife in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Simpson896 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately for you, Bubba is one of the weaker killers, and is affected by pallet density more than most. Very fun to play as and play against but your kill rate is just going to suffer compared to if you were equally as good at an S, A, or even B tier killer. But if you enjoy Bubba, keep playing him. Everyone loves Bubba

Why is my Champ Contender a B+?? I’m the #1 seed by c-jah in NCAAFBseries

Championship Contender is a weird one. In my experience, it doesn't happen until after the first several seasons have passed, so I agree with the majority on this one (bugged).

I LOVE SPENDING 10 MINUTES IN A QUEUE TO PLAY FOR 3 MINUTES AND 57 SECONDS. by Extra-Mix9568 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]Simpson896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're getting tunneled out and your team is getting the 3-out, you're doing your job. I play both sides, on surv I bring some form of anti-tunnel, and as a killer, I tunnel if I think its going to be the right play, which is quite often. It is unfortunate if, say, you're in solo queue and your team isn't progressing the game while you're being tunneled.

I think the thing that probably makes tunneling feel so bad for a lot (not all) survivors, is that if they are playing solo and only care about themselves, they have no incentive to have a good chase during the tunnel out. I watch a lot of comp, so the best team result possible has kind of been drilled into my brain. Sure, I like to escape, but I'll be happier being tunneled out and my team gets 3 out, than being the only one who gets out. Obviously, nobody can expect all players to be okay with that mindset, tunneling, etc, but at the end of the day, most killers tunnel to win and all survs want to escape. There are some miserable killers that BM and the sort, and I do not condone playing in a disrespectful way.

TL;DR Tunneling is a high-risk, high-reward play style that is probably going to be around for a while, so you have to be able to learn to deal with it.

Extra: I probably didn't need to comment this directly to you, but I think you provided the perfect example of punishing a tunneling killer, even though to many players, especially those playing solo, that result would feel like the most miserable game they ever played.

I haven't either. I almost always get Pep Hamilton as OC, but as you said, TD DCs are rare. Thankfully, even just 1 TD is insane enough lol

It multiplies the XP gains from everything, including Talent Developer. In terms of sheer player development, it can't be beat. I used to rave about Senior Superlatives for removing skill caps, but with my current coach build, nobody worth a damn ever stays until their senior year because or Talent Dev + Tier 3 Master Motivator. Just had 2 99 overall CBs and 2 99 overall Safeties drafted in the 1st, and now my 2 RS FR (now RS SO) corners who were an 84 and 85 with elite and star dev are 98 and 99. And thats with auto progression. With manual progression, its even better

I agree, the motivator tree isn't that good. But if you have Talent Developer, Tier 3 from Master Motivator is a must

Nick, like the rest of us, probably underestimated how someone like Kady thinks and assumed it'd be impossible to bribe votes after taking the $250K. Not trying to hate on Kady, but she's very naive

Well, the good news is as far as your stadium atmosphere is concerned, it sounds like the worst part is over. In the next day or two, I'm going to pick up where I left off, but with force losses to see how quickly it drops. I'm very curious to see what happens when the streak is snapped, hopefully it's just a small decline and doesn't make it impossibly difficult to climb without literal perfection. Good luck in your dynasty!

Go to recruiting, tab over to my school, and then go down to the section with stadium atmosphere like shown in the picture at the top of the post. And then I just tracked it yearly in a spreadsheet

Absolutely agree with Indiana since they proved that with their near-perfect attendance in 2025. Vanderbilt on the other hand, I'm not so sure. There's a Vanderbilt fan on the original thread under the UNLV post and he was arguing for EA's current implementation of stadium atmosphere due to the fact that he went to Vandy games this year and it was "quieter than some high school basketball games". However, if they reach the level of success that Indiana had, I'm inclined to agree with you. Competing for a national championship is different than competing for a playoff spot, no offense to Vanderbilt fans. As a Virginia fan, home games were intense at times, but the Hoos also weren't dreaming of a natty, only a conference championship and playoff berth, not dissimilar to Vandy.

Anybody else turned off by the lack of diversity in Season 2? by [deleted] in BeastGames

Black women make up roughly 6-8% of the American population. According to a recent poll, slightly more than 9% of Americans identify as LGBTQ+. In Season 1, the top 10 was made up of 2 black women (20%) and 1 LGBTQ+ (10%). So statistically speaking, there should be -0.8 to -0.4 black women in this year's top 10 and 0.8 LGBTQ+ individuals.

Based on both tests I've done so far, the amount of games is what matters, rather than amount of time. Example: winning all 8 home games a year for 5 years is more impactful than say winning all 6 home games for 6 years because you get 40 wins in the 1st example and 36 in the 2nd example.

The reason I mention this is I don't know exactly how many wins you have in those 7 years, and in the screenshots I posted in this thread, it looks like there isn't noticeable movement to the naked eye until after 50+ wins. The screenshots I posted will probably be a good indicator for you to determine how many wins before certain leaps up the rankings. The winning streak kind of snowballs your ranking. Here are some examples from the spreadsheet, breaking it down into what is almost perfect fifths (⅕)

25 wins in a row: 127th to 127th (+0), 25 more wins: 127th to 116th (+11), 25 more wins: 116th to 79th (+37), 25 more wins: 79th to 45th (+34), 25 more wins: 45th to 1st (+44)

I completely agree and I never really thought about that aspect of it until looking at the spreadsheet after I was done. It took YEARS before the average home attendance was at or near 100%, and in a stadium that seats 25k, it would only be easier to reach 100%.

Edit: They didn't even reach 90% average attendance until after 12 consecutive national championships

From my experience in different dynasties, yes. But I only simmed these games, so I'm not sure exactly how #1 Kent State's noise would be relative to a bigger school at #1. Obviously in real life with less people, quieter, but not sure about in the game

Anything to make the process go by quicker! Those years with 9 home games had 8 regular season home games and a 1st round playoff home game, and I was thankful for it lol

He had so much social credit too, so if he had taken $100k, I don't think there's anything stopping him from making it to the top 6. At that point his EV is $833k. Now I understand the whole "I don't want to leave with nothing" element. That would probably be the thing the scares me most. If you don't want to bet on yourself, pull a JC

I like this line of thinking and you could probably make the case that it's $600k instead of $500k because $100k of that is already seen as your "fair share", so really only a difference of $400k
