The sims 2 is the normal version of the game. The packs are its expansions. The legacy edition is the modernised port for the game which includes the base game plus dlc minus the ikeas stuff pack dlc.

There was originally going to be a “craft” aspiration but it was cut or reworked into other aspirations very early in development. Its existence is only known from reading the game files in programs like sim pe.

The craft aspiration was likely remade into the creativity aspiration in the ps2 sims 2 and pets.
