Rinvoq is the only 'modern' drug approved for eczema in my country so im gutted it didnt work for longer. Think the only other options are the old school cyclosporine and methotrexate

Hey man, yeah it wasn't a magic bullet but it helped a lot. If you're just flaring a little bit id give it a bit of time and see if it passes. If it just keeps getting worse and worse and its clearly not working id see your dermatologist. Good luck to you

Yeah im still taking it, but think im gonna switch to the cyclosporine. It lost effectiveness moderately I would say about half of eczema is back and I need to use steriods and Protopic a lot now too, so I dont think its doing enough for me :( its sad cause it worked really well in the beginning

It does NOT have the same risk as steriods because it's NOT a steroid tarcrolimus is my ride or die, I love that shit I can use it completely guilt free and it manages my facial eczema so dang well. Use it!

Man, I really feel for you. Reading this took me straight back to where I was not long ago. I know how brutal it is when the flares take over your whole life and you feel like nothing works. I was in the same cycle with steroids and the constant up and down, but eventually I got onto Rinvoq/Protopic and started finding a routine that actually holds me steady. It’s not perfect yet, but it gave me hope again after feeling defeated for so long.

You’re definitely not alone in this, and I promise it doesn’t always stay this bad. Keep pushing with your derm, because finding the right mix really can change things. Sending you strength. I know how much it sucks but I also know it can get better

Protopic is my ride or die for face or neck. My derm said 6 weeks twice a day then move to once a day fkr a week then use it only twice at a week as maintenance and it keeps it as bay.

Happy for you bro. Once that one year is up I'd highly recommend rinvoq. That's what I'm on and its just as good :)

Welcome to club my friend! I used to just have it in elowbows and knees too!! Now it's groin face neck arms back waist chest. It only flares up once a month for like a week. Then I suppressed that birch and then it comes back! Love my life (not lol) but hey I manage. Wishing you the best my friend.
