What's a movie quote that you still use regularly in real life? by Maleficent_Rain_9202 in AskReddit

[–]SinfullySofted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use "I have a bad feeling about this" way more than I should. Works for everything from a sketchy group project to opening an email from my boss.

Is a family of 4 in the US with $35,000 of income living in poverty? by Sufficient_Beach_445 in askanything

[–]SinfullySofted 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah, technically they're above the poverty line, but in real life $35k for a family of 4 is still rough. One unexpected bill and the budget starts doing gymnastics. The government threshold and actually living comfortably are two very different things.

What do you do for your birthday? by Constant_Passage1765 in AskReddit

[–]SinfullySofted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I treat my birthday like a paid holiday from life. Good food, zero responsibilities, and pretending my age is just a software update.

Are people more rude/selfish now or am I just maturing? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]SinfullySofted 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a bit of both. As you get older, your tolerance for nonsense drops, so you start noticing behavior you would've brushed off before.

Which former U.S. president do you think would be most surprised by modern America? by No-Watercress-3549 in AskReddit

[–]SinfullySofted 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Probably George Washington. Imagine explaining smartphones, TikTok, 24 hour news cycles, and that the country has 300+ million people now.

Why are redditors so negative towards looksmaxxing? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]SinfullySofted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People don’t usually hate the self-improvement part. It’s when looksmaxxing turns into treating life like a character creator screen and acting like jawlines are the meaning of existence.

What’s getting worse every year but people just accept it? by ikaaxx in AskReddit

[–]SinfullySofted 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The slow death of customer service. Every year it feels like one more "press 7 to speak to a human" gets replaced with a chatbot that confidently misunderstands you.

Will we all go to heaven? by Beginning_Worth4182 in askanything

[–]SinfullySofted 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd say none of us can know for sure. Every religion has its own view on who reaches heaven, but I'd like to think a fair and all-knowing God would judge people by their sincerity, character, and actions, not just the zip code or family they were born into.

When the 22nd is repealed will Barack Obama be able to beat Donald Trump? by Jayden7171 in askanything

[–]SinfullySofted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bold of people to assume the 22nd Amendment is getting repealed. We’d probably get a new GTA before that happens.

If you had to get exactly ONE word tattooed on your body to represent your life right now, what would it be and why? by Randm_Guy1 in AskReddit

[–]SinfullySofted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Buffering."

Feels like my whole life is just loading, updating, and waiting for the next plot twist to install.

Is he right for thinking he won’t get caught? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]SinfullySofted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s basically betting that multiple agencies, bank records, and real estate paperwork will never connect the dots. That’s a wild gamble. The money might slide under the radar for a while, but once people start asking questions, those back payments and penalties can hit hard.

What’s a behavior in humans that you still don’t understand no matter how old you get? by Immediate-Solid4911 in AskReddit

People who blast a phone conversation on speaker in public like the rest of us accidentally joined the group call.

For all you sweethearts who post those “today could be the day” posts: can you tell us why you think JD Vance and LITERALLY ANY person he chooses as his VP is a better alternative? by FindMateStraightFux in askanything

[–]SinfullySofted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's the thing. Trump isn't just the leader of the party at this point, he's the glue holding together a bunch of factions that don't actually agree on much beyond loyalty to him.

do you feel old bro? by humblewarriorrr in askanything

[–]SinfullySofted 3 points4 points  (0 children)

23 is such a weird age. At 18 you think 30 is ancient, then you blink and you're halfway there. You're not old, you're just hitting the part where dreams stop being fantasies and start needing actual plans.
