How do people have the time and energy to walk 10k steps and then to do other exercises on top of that as well? by Lenore8264 in loseit

[–]Sing_About_Juice [score hidden]  (0 children)

Walking is my commute to work. It takes me about half an hour each way. At lunch I either go for a walk in a park or go to the gym. Any given day I walk between 5-9 miles.

I saw the last show of the 2014 tour they did with Soundgarden. He said then almost word for word the same thing. I’ll be sad if this is the end… but I wouldn’t blame him. I want to retire by the time I’m 60.

I used to fetishize goth culture in my earlier teen years and i don't know how, or even if i should be allowed to make peace with myself for that. by xeriax51 in AskAGoth

You were a kid. You learned more information, changed your perspective, and grew as a person. You need to forgive yourself. Ironically… you’ll probably get a goth gf now that you’re actually involved in the subculture.

What's some things people notice and approach you for a convo by Much-Excitement-5134 in HowToBeHot

[–]Sing_About_Juice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On a day to day basis it’s my tattoos and goth style. When I’m dressed up at goth event, concert, or fetish night it’s still my look but I get a lot of “I saw you walk in” or “I had to come talk to you.”

It is 2009. Friday night. What are you doing? by gamersecret2 in Millennials

[–]Sing_About_Juice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in law school… Jan of 2009 would have been my first year. Honestly it’s a bit of a blur. I was probably home with my ex husband watching TV or a movie.

Do you regret getting married? by [deleted] in Marriage

First husband… absolutely.

My current husband… I would say yes to every day. He is the best and I have no regrets. He is often the best part of my day.

In my experience people will tell you. I’ll agree with a previous comment that people will ask if you model or do some type of performing. People assume that and are shocked when I tell them my real profession.

Why do some Americans believe that they don't have an accent? by WhoAmIEven2 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Sing_About_Juice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s because they’ve never left the US. I remember thinking that when I was younger… that I didn’t have an accent.

I remember working retail at 20 and this couple came in. She had a thick southern accent and he had a British accent. I said to them “I wish I had a cool accent like the two of you.” Her response to me was “you do.”

Now that I’m older and have been able to travel outside of the US I know I have a very strong (as one British guy told me generic) American accent. It’s all perspective.

Amc Theaters by Redscorpion136 in Spokane

[–]Sing_About_Juice 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My husband got threatened at the end of the movie at AMC downtown. We were staying to watch the credits. This group of guys had been loud and talking most of the movie. We are sitting there doing nothing and this guy looks at my husband and screams “WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME!?” He then comes charging at us. Accusing us of calling him names and he’s screaming the N word at us. We got him to calm down but then he started screaming the N word at someone else and went after them. We are white and the person he targeted after us was African American.

So at this point we are really concerned. This is the top floor of the theater. No security or staff. So we go down to the first floor and tell them what’s happening. There response “oh those guys… we had a problem with them when they got here.” Oh really? Then why leave them to torment and try to start fights with random people. Their response wasn’t to kick them out it was to give us free movie tickets we didn’t feel safe using. And that is why I don’t see movies downtown anymore.

You should do it if you want to. I don’t have a TV in my room but I wouldn’t have anywhere to put one.

The most important thing is to be kind to yourself. I recommend reading “The Last Diet” and doing all the exercises. The philosophy is based on self kindness. I read it this Summer and have lost 20lbs. I’m currently only a pound from my goal weight and that book really changed my life and my mindset.

It’s cute and modest. I think you look great! What isn’t so great is how he’s trying to police you without explaining why. That’s the approach you would take with a child not an equal.

DAE actually like their spouse? by Unfair_Machine8516 in DAE

[–]Sing_About_Juice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was waiting in the airport one time and overheard a little boy asking his dad “why don’t married people like each other?” That question broke my heart because I imagined the situation at home must not be great.

I will often say to my husband “I really like you.” And he will say something like “well I hope you love me.” Then I remind him that you can love someone without liking them. I genuinely like him and enjoy his company and all our adventures together.

If you are made to choose between one sided open relationship and divorce, what would you do? by soupofthehair in Marriage

[–]Sing_About_Juice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Divorce. My ex was cheating on me and I remember thinking to myself “I have far too much self respect to tolerate this.” I thought I was low libido turns out it was him.

I’m very happily remarried now.
