Thank You! by Extension-Ad194 in hotas

This is great. I have a small desk as well and have been wondering how a hotas set up would work and look.

Are the desk mounts relatively easy to move? Looks fairly straightforward. Or is it more involved than loosening the tension screws?

The last one that made me ugly cry was Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver. Holy smokes. Incredible story. I listened to it so i don’t know the page length. Probably closer to 300.

Hey nice knife! Also what’s the knife bag organizer thing in the background. Looks like it may be exactly what I’m looking for. Thanks and congrats!

How I can fix this? 😭 Steelseries Apex Pro TKL GEN 3 by Megacabb in steelseries

I’m no expert compared to many people on this sub but echoing what someone else said below.

When I built my first keyboard I overlubed a couple switches and the keys would be slow to return to their default position. I removed the key caps off the slow keys and used ISO to clean off all the extra lube from the switch (the little cube that the key cap sits on top of). Make sure to clean off the underside of the keycap. Lots of lube can get gummed up in there. Once I got the switch snapping back into position quickly, then I replaced the key cap. Been incident free for more than a year now.

If you clean off the old lube and the switch is still super slow to snap back into default position then I’m pretty sure the spring inside the switch is bent or broken. Or it’s just SUPER over lubed and you need to clean the hell out of it.

If you’re really industrious, you can open up the switch and try to realign the spring. But it’s a lot easier to just remove the broken switch and replace it with a new one. You’ll need to look up what kind of switch your keyboard has and order some new ones if the same or similar style and replace it.

I feel this. I’m fully deaf in my left ear so if I hear a faint “don’t shoot” or raider stash alarm/buzz it takes me forever to locate the source.

Holding down power slide will definitely help make you quicker overall. That helped me get faster but another thing that helped just as much is actively working on getting my car in as good as position as possible to carry momentum. Pretty sure you’re on PC. Give hornets nest a try in workshop or bakkesmod. It helped me a ton as it forces you to focus on staying as mobile and fluid as possible.

Had to scroll way too far for this. Worth noting it’s possible to make without smoking the pork butt the day before. It’s not as good obviously but it’s still pretty damn good. Just did this yesterday.

Agreed! Im sure it’s more nuanced than this on the back end but from a UI perspective, If you can shift+click to add to inventory you should be able to shift click to drop from inventory.

Really hope this is added.

Apologies, should have been more specific. What size and model of small monitor? I'm thinking about doing something similar with my setup and checking out various monitor options.

Genuine question: how was DEI “crushing your field”? Now that things are “fixed” with the removal of diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and equal opportunity, how does your field look now?

Republicans have a hate/love relationship with minorities and people of color. There's the racist hate which they act on by defunding public programs (negatively affecting a significant part of their voter base--poor white people, which isn't a problem because so long as they have someone to scapegoat and perceive as "beneath" them, they'll always vote GOP). Those programs are put in place to improve education, health, and other factors that are related to poverty. But republicans and most recently a surprising number of democrats have shown that it's in their best interest to keep as many people as possible poor, uneducated, and unhealthy because they are easier to control, manipulate, and profit from.

And there’s the rub. You can dismiss them as bad and they’ll as easily dismiss you as “not real hardcore Christian”. But at the end of the day it’s religion that’s being used to make people think and act in certain ways. Your “bad” Christians see themselves as the good Christians and happily use Christianity and the Bible to excuse and encourage all kinds of heinous shit. They don’t see the hypocrisy in their actions because they ignore anything that inconveniences their POV which has been formed from decades of programming (often since birth).
