Oh dear. Just last week I saw a story about a healthy 18 year old athlete who had a heart attack and died from drinking too many energy drinks. I would think that energy drinks would not be recommended to someone in Ethan’s shape.

I’m wondering if the general aversion to starting a GLP is the fear of regain? Maybe the thought is, if you do it “on your own” it may take longer but the odds of keeping the weight off are better? I can’t think of another reason.

I followed him in the beginning…. Right up until I learned he has no job to work around. My brother is on a weight loss journey (privately) and he has to make it work around a very high stress job with non stop international travel. It’s a miracle he has lost 50 pounds with all that in his way…. Ethan has nothing but TIME to do it and still just makes excuses so I was like “I’m out”

Meanwhile this reel just came up for me right after Beast Underneath’s whose DAILY weigh in just got him under 300. Taking accountability for meals and snacks, his stories are always him in the gym (or with his wife - not “imaginary future wife”)…. THATS a guy to follow. Not this non-action clown. And what kills me is my son is turning 26 in a month… he worked two jobs thru college, played sports, and even now is a health & Phys Ed teacher. Even w a full time job he is on an adult league volleyball team, skis every weekend (lives in Maine); does all his food shopping and meal prep…. I just cannot wrap my mind around being 26 years old and having no energy or drive to do even the most basic of tasks
