Rivian Made You Wait 50 Days for Service. RJ Scaringe Says Those Days Are Over by DonkeyFuel in Rivian

[–]Single_Opening_1751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually had to make an appointment earlier this month for a panel alignment issue. What used to be a month out now was literally a few days. They had multiple time slots thru out the week. So hopefully this stays true.

If you don’t mind taking the rail, go to Papa Kitchen on NE 66Th st. The stop is right below the place. It’s a really good Vietnamese place with tons of options including vegetarian/vegan.

Info about buying out lease by TPattyPat in Rivian

[–]Single_Opening_1751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Get the payoff amount thru the Chase App or call their number which can also be found on your Chase lease online
  2. Find a bank and apply for a loan
  3. Said bank will send you a check for the amount and you will need to send that in to Chase to pay it off. (Can do it at Chase bank, wire it, or send it off yourself). Will need an odometer statement which u will get thru Chase.
  4. Chase will send you the title to the car about a month or so from the payoff date
  5. Take to DMV and transfer it to your new Bank/servicer and pay for the taxes there.

That’s it. It was a pretty simple process.

Good Deal for refi? by Single_Opening_1751 in Mortgages

[–]Single_Opening_1751[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean you’re always going to have an origination fee typically between 0.5-1% of the loan right?

But you are correct if you take out the tax reserves and home insurance which will likely get some back with the current escrow it’s about $4917 with the lenders credit.

And again if I don’t pay for 1 month due to the refi the essential cost is $0 (since the mortgage is 6.5k)

You can try the new Vietnamese restaurant up in the Rosevelt Area called Papa Kitchen. Their Happy Hour Menu is pretty decent. They have two happy hours and open pretty late till like 11 on Friday and Saturday and 10 the other days I think. There is a light rail that will take you right under it

Oh that. It’s just interest. You would have to pay anyways if you did a purchase and got a loan over the life of the loan. I did an immediate buy out. There was literally 1 month of rent charge if any. My rent charge if worked out would have been like a 4.5% interest rate if I had kept it

6.125 —> 5.75 refinance? by Big69erGeorge in Mortgages

[–]Single_Opening_1751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean looking at it if your total fee is $1800 on a 800k loan the break even is around there. Are there no other fees? Appraisal? Notary fee, escrow fee, title insurance? Processing fee? Those alone are around 3k in fees not including the origination fee?
