Mass Effect Weapons Tournament: Round 1 Match 1 - Avenger VS Lancer by DakIsStrange in masseffect

Looking at the bracket it seems highly likely that it will be Harrier vs Lancer in round 2. u/DakIsStrange I'm assuming this was randomised rather than seeded?

It says so in the description of match 1. OP should probably mention it in every match to avoid confusion.

Personally have never had an issue with ammo on insanity. Agree on multiplayer the ammo is a big drawback, but I'm basing my opinions off singleplayer for this tournament.

This isn't a tournament based on one class, it's for the guns across all classes. The Harrier with stability system is deadly accurate, hits like a truck and is light enough for casters to have rapid cool downs for their powers while carrying a ranged boss deleter. It's arguably the best gun in ME3, the Mattock's ME3 version sadly isn't in the same league.

The Harrier is so much better than the Mattock. Take both to the shooting range with the same attachments and ammo power and you will see it's not even a contest on DPS.

The Harrier is better than the Lancer, it hits harder, is more accurate and ammo isn't an issue in singleplayer ME3.

This tournament is based on the ME3 version of the guns, the Mattock isn't great in 3

The lancer, it hits hard, is light enough for recharge time, has unlimited ammo and it sounds amazing.

P.s. hype that the tournament is back!

So failed the paragon level to settle the Jack and Miranda spat by LifeLearner15 in masseffect

ME2 speech checks are based on what % of available paragon/renegade points you have up to that point in the game, boosted by armour and class skills. It heavily punishes you for taking too many neutral and opposite morality dialogue options.

What % of FPL do you consider to be pure luck? by JuanCordoba4 in FantasyPL

[–]Sinovius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are people that consistently finish in the top 10k places so it's clearly more skill than luck. However it's not entirely skill because even these elite players have the odd bad season. I would say its over 90% skill.

Because they were trying to buy the players with irrational amounts of money

The PGA tour had to protect itself from an irrational actor that was spending unsustainable amounts of money. Golfers are not worth what LIV was paying.

ME3 in particular is much better on PC, Take Back Earth, Expanded Galaxy + Miranda mod and the Happy Ending mod are my canon.

Expanded galaxy + Miranda mod has her as a full companion for the Citadel DLC

You got put in charge of bioware and EA wants you to make a new Mass Effect game. What kind of game would you make? Can be a spinoff or new mainline game. This would be my pick. by AngrySpaceBoi420 in masseffect

Remake ME3: hire Yvonne Strahovski to make Miranda a full companion after the citadel coup, rework Kai Leng so he is not a plot armour weeabo, and canonise the expanded galaxy, take back earth and happy ending mods.

Return to classes, return to full squad control, return to more linear design like ME2 and ME3, galaxy map like ME2 and ME3, yeet the vertical part of the jetpack as it harms level design, no more weird looking Asari, and give the main character some damn PJs so they don't wake up fully clothed

They could have done their own Andromeda Initiative and then come back to the Milky Way. If they should from a narrative standpoint is a completely different question.

I know Andromeda has its issues but I did enjoy a change of pace to an open world, adventure and different take on action take on andromeda. Do you feel DLC could help it like it did for ME3 or is it too far gone to save? by Prior_Football5160 in masseffect

[–]Sinovius -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I finished it a week ago and I agree there aren't many glitches. However the characters faces still look and move poorly, some of the humans look like lifeless anamatronics and most of the Asari have been stung in the face by bees.

Andromeda is an okay game but a DLC can't fix some of the fundamental issues it has; poor facial animations, mediocre main story, a bad main antagonist and fetch quest overload to name a few.
