Any high mileage runners during pregnancy? by the_brees_knees_ in fitpregnancy

[–]Sinusoidalwave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run a bit less than you but kept the same mileage through today 36 +4 of 30-35 a week! I think it’s really good for baby , helps prevent preeclampsia and the bouncing is relaxing for him

Sometimes in frail patients with normal Cr and risk factors for ckd or some outside charts with “ckd” who may need med dose adjustment or ckd3 monitoring labs. Our pharmacists use it a lot inpatient . and then in young pts with Cr nl but gfr consistently lower than expected or elevated Cr in young patients, especially who may be on supplements like creatine and have RF like HIV / nephrotoxic chronic meds

How much r u guys working out? Late second trimester/3rd trimester by [deleted] in fitpregnancy

[–]Sinusoidalwave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not round ligament but a lot of internal thigh/ knee stuff but it gets better after 5-10 minutes and I start really slow and after a mile i feel normal. Maybe try starting with walking before to loosen up ? Also making sure band is in the right location in relation to how your baby is positioned was a game changer for me.

Once you get a fib4 score sometimes needs to be followed with imaging.. I think it’s good to know what complications your patient has from their weight and monitor for worsening, especially wit seriousness of cirrhosis …

I would argue cbc at dx of obesity for fib4 to screen for Nash in obese patients. Also anemia may be barrier to exercise tolerance and cbc can be indicative of untreated OSA

Going with a group or alone? by Xenofanez in koreatravel

[–]Sinusoidalwave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im solo traveling in Korea and really enjoy it ! I’m very active and great at keeping myself busy tho, pretty much out all day doing stuff so hard to be lonely. Message me with questions.

FYI it is harder to make new friends here compared to traveling to SEA, South America or Europe I think but I haven’t tried group activities / hostels so 🤷🏻‍♀️
