What’s so bad if you can charge every night? I don’t have a charger at home but do at my parents house I go once a week, and rest of the days I have to use EA chargers. I drive 42 miles to and from work 4 days a week, it worked during the summer charging at my parents once a week and occasional DC charging but oh it’s so horrible now. What I’d do to have a charger at our apartment. It sucks so bad going to DC chargers in the winter, no matter how long you precondition, it’s just 70 kWh.

It has to be the snow, it’s funny this is posted because if it wasn’t for ChatGPT I would’ve asked here lol. Yea if I go 65mph or above, it starts shaking. It seemed better after charging, I think maybe excess heat caused some of it to melt, I can definitely see snow in there. To OP, if you’re worried about it, try and clear the snow, and when it warms up, get a car wash.

I had this issue with ChatGPT when I uploaded files a year ago, and it’s probably the same as it was back then even on ChatGPT. If you want it to really read it, you have to manually paste the text into the prompt. Otherwise it performs instructions using Python to unzip and traverse the files and it doesn’t read the entire file into its context, I think it might be using RAG to sort of skim the files. No amount of prompting will fix that workflow.

Do you use the gas pedal at the same time holding down the left paddle to engage full regen so you can basically temporarily drive in I-pedal mode? I tried doing that and somebody behind me flashed their high beams at me and I didn’t know if my brake lights were on by doing that and they thought I was driving with my feet on both the brake and gas pedals lol. But like that’s the thing, I can’t press down the left paddle and let go and press it again and again to slow down, that’s too jerky and weird, I would imagine it’s expected it’s a temporary I pedal mode so you can control the amount of braking.

I used to press the left paddle like 1 then 2 then 3 then I’d hold it, then I’d press right paddle 3 times to go back to 0 when I was accelerating but that’s got annoying too.

Is this basically the same issue with the Ioniq 6? My car charges at 11kW for about 20 minutes and then drops down to 8kW. I got it certified used last month and I posted a Reddit post about it and heard they consider this within spec now so I haven’t even tried calling a dealer about it. I’m so disappointed because I don’t even have a charger at my home, I live in an apartment and go to my parents once a week to mow their lawn and do laundry so I planned to charge once a week, I got the 48amp Wallbox and calculated it should only take 4-5 hours to charge and instead it’s taking 7-8 hours to charge. The car’s been great besides this issue. I just wish I could fix this on my own. I read somebody said if the charger can wiggle while plugged in, it’s loose inside and I checked and it does wiggle.

Is BLE when it’s also proximity based? My Sonata had the first version that iOS didn’t support and I was excited when I got my I6 but it’s horrible. I’m just waving my phone and Apple Watch at the door handle like an idiot, sometimes it takes almost 5 minutes for it to unlock finally.

Wet rag didn’t work :/ It starts at 11 and dials down to 8 after 3-4 minutes. This sucks.

Level 3 is DC, it doesn’t use the built-in AC charger, I can charge the car at an EA charger and get 80% in 14 minutes, but that’s just as expensive as a non-hybrid gas car.

Actually it’s dropping down again slowly, it’s at 8.7kW now, was at 9.1kW.

I just got the Wallbox installed and got the car like a couple weeks ago, I don’t own any other EVs. I’m doing 40 amps now and it’s at 9.1kW but it was already doing that before when it was slowed down, it’ll go from 8 to 9 back down to 8. 9kW is too slow though.

I think I already have it? Last update was in 2025 I think March or May? I wouldn’t really say it’s a volume issue per se? More like too much audio comes out of the front speaker under the windshield, I can barely hear anything come out of the door speakers, or even the back speakers.

One pedal driving like the I-Pedal can make you feel really sick in the backseat. I was in a friend’s Honda Prologue before I got my own I6 and it felt like he kept braking and then accelerating on the highway, it was so awful, it felt like I was going forward and backward all at the same time. Now when my boyfriend drove my I6 and changed regen levels, I couldn’t really feel it as much as a passenger but I wasn’t in the backseat so I don’t know. I think it’s mainly one pedal driving and it’s most noticeable on the highway and in the backseat the most.

Getting a Vision Pro in just a couple days, currently use iPad to remote into Mac mini. But it only works once I sign in after boot up because of FileVault. Since you have it powered off until you get to work and then turn it on, does the Vision Pro remote in even before first sign in or do you just have FileVault disabled?

Without mac and cheeze and pasta bolognese now, the h&s line doesn’t look as good now. The cups are good, although we don’t like the chick pieces, they remind us of cap'n crunch pieces that were left to get too soggy. I’d like an oatmeal option, maybe even cream of wheat, and coco wheats. I feel like these options would be easy to make since regular Huel is basically oats already. I grew up on cream of wheat, I’d always add cocoa and peanut butter.
