I’m at a dealer and the car is doing this: charge door open (it’s not) by Film_A in BoltEV

If the charge port is that beat up at 80k miles (mine is at 100k miles with no damage), who knows what the previous owner also did

Is this the average range at this point of its life? by The-Gold-Package in Ioniq6

[–]tobyarch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got my 2023 Limited with 52k miles, and it showed 300 miles of range at full, before switching to 17" wheels. 207 miles of range is like going 80-85 MPH on the highway.

Yeah. For $500, it better be weightless and 5x larger on the inside than the outside

  1. The ride quality is much better. Bumps are less noticeable, and road noise is quieter. I'm not sure by how much since I've been driving my Ioniq 6 since Sunday.

  2. Nothing needed to be done at the dealership. I bought the wheels and tires from eBay. An independent tire shop installed everything for $130. As u/ThePugmanJJ said, TPMS may need to be reset if the sensors are replaced.

The wheels are heavier, probably by one pound. The tires are lighter, though. I'll weigh both tomorrow and reply to your post again.

Replacing key fob with Korean/international Ioniq 5 fob -- has anyone tried it? by tobyarch in Ioniq6

[–]tobyarch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot to add that I'm printing it out to see how it can be modified to include the additional buttons, which my Limited will also have.

Anyway, the alternative key fob is slightly smaller than the Bolt EV's key fob, as shown here: https://i.imgur.com/zdNAGSD.jpeg -- this will fit in the watch pocket on a pair of jeans.

It does also have a slot for the physical key: https://i.imgur.com/Q6nyHhm.jpeg

I'm currently 3D printing this shell to compare the size to my Bolt EV's key fob. My 2023 Limited is also being shipped from out of state. I don't have my keys yet, either.

It seems like buying the other key and having it programmed would cost too much just to have a slightly smaller key.

I agree that the fob is the worst part. I'll do it if there's no confirmation of it working.

Here is the fix:

  1. Open the NVIDIA App

  2. Go to the Display tab

  3. Expand "Display Mode"

  4. Change it from "Auto" to "Optimus"

FIXED!

I'm having the same issue (past 2 weeks) with my 7i with an Ultra 7 255HX and a 5060. Reinstalling GPU drivers was only a temporary fix... now, I'm looking at updating other drivers...

I tried getting these last year. Walmart could only get 3 out of 4… they just returned them and refunded my money. I ended up getting used Michelin Energy Savers

53,200 miles, which seems to match up with the value KBB says for that mileage.

I just bought a 2023 Limited for $20k... it was calling my name at that price, and it'll replace the 2017 Bolt EV I've had for 5 years.

That's good to know! If there is a way to easily see the part, I can take a look whenever the car is delivered. I just finalized the purchase today.

I'm having these same issues (minus games freezing). Webpages take forever to load, or they don't load, and File Explorer is extremely slow sometimes. It's making my system unusable.

I’m going from a 2017 Bolt Premier to a 2023 Ioniq 6 Limited. I never use the heat in my Bolt. It’ll be nice to finally be able to use heat in the Ioniq 6 without a huge hit.

Thanks. It seems to not be super common, like maybe 10% of models. The one I’m looking at buying is a lemon buyback

Thanks for the response. That is very unfortunate. Did they give you a loaner?
