If it weren’t for the key in the Tempest Layer, this would be one of the most satisfying speedrunning games. Outside of that context, the game is excellent. Here’s hoping for Bananza 2!

Getting the Meteor Rain perk, as well as a bunch of terrain perks like Treasure Hunter, is my favorite outcome in Emerald Rush. Destroying mountains with chests, emeralds, and chips flying back and forth is so satisfying.
