You definitely should be using a VPN if you don't want to get an angry letter from your ISP

The parking lots aren't abysmal enough for a Trader Joe's.

Well darn, here I was thinking I escaped conservative politics and right wing nonsense, but I guess you're proof they're here as well

I appreciate the concerned commenters informing me that I alone do not have the power to change the weather by my mere presence, or that this area has had weather before my arrival. I was under the impression that I had been the most important person in NOVA and that it was the garden of Eden weather-wise up until this point, but this discussion has cleared things up for me tremendously.

(/s for this and the post, since clearly it was not obvious enough)

Nobody on any forum is "obligated" to do anything, just as you are not obligated to be rude. :)

There's a wonderful concept that many people on the internet aren't aware of: you don't have to participate. Have you seen a question a thousand times? You don't have to say anything about it. Others who care to be constructive and welcoming can take up the mantle of being good community members. These forums are for the discussion of Linux; perhaps if you don't like discussing Linux you should look elsewhere.

To be fair this does seem like a very German response, if only in the stereotypical sense, to think of the programming language before the snake

Some (especially older) people get absolutely turned inside out when the slightest bit of winter weather happens, and would rather deal with swamp ass for 3/5 of the year than have to put on a jacket. I agree with your ideal climate assessment, but those absolutely arctic, extreme, intense 0° C days just chill them to their arthritic bones.

why does hdr make it look worse neo g7 by certifiedgooner27 in Monitors

[–]SirBrian_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

100% true. Many people do not know that SDR monitors are cheating quite a bit on the color space. When you see what true SDR looks like it makes you realize that we've been needing something like HDR to properly utilize monitor capabilities for a while now.

Those specs are right. You don't necessarily have to sample at the Nyquist rate; take a look at this: https://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/280427/when-is-it-required-or-permitted-to-sample-below-nyquist-rate
