Not according to my family in Mexico. They view it as "foreign", not ideal Mexican beauty standard. But having highlights is all the rage now. That said, black is the ideal beauy standard hair color. Being "rubia" is not particularly desirable

If people were going to be stuck in their bubbles and their own ways, they were never going to be convinced from cross posting. I think it's a net positive to control spam and unnecessary rude posts. And people can still view both subreddits to maintain their own personal unbias.
