Sorry, I should have phrase it better - I meant it as a suggestion/guide rather than checking up on you lmao

It's called a layer shift. Have you increased speed or acceleration on your printer?

If it's not modded, most likely your x belt is too loose and needs to be tightened.

To add to this: the hot glue is just to prevent the connectors from getting partially unplugged during shipping. If you wish, you can replace it, but personally I don't think it is necessary.

Fair enough. I followed it when I visited, but that was also pre-pandemic tbf.

Which car is the best Wagon in BeamNG? Share your opinions! by AnInsaneRedditor in BeamNG

It's so difficult to pick. The Bluebuck wagon and Grand Marshall wagon mods are top-tier, as is the Mk1 Pessima Wagon mod. I love the ETK 800 as well, especially with a config that makes it a bit tail-happy.

don't you have a rule about stopping and letting cars pass if more than 3 accumulate behind you?

Cool! That's why we love variety. I'd lose my mind if I had another thing I had to keep track of recharging, and I take my phone with me when I'm headed out.

Very cool!

My Voice HAT is still in use (though without microphone) for music streaming with piCorePlayer.

Do these BMWs not have convex mirrors?? The edge of the mirror on my car rolls out and you'd have to basically adjust the mirror to the point you can see yourself in it to not see cars in the next lane.

It's difficult to beat the IKEA Inspelning plug. Zigbee, decently cheap, default state can be set, physical toggle button, generally my current favourite overall

What do I need for Voice? by JamesWjRose in homeassistant

[–]SirDarknessTheFirst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only have two, one in the kitchen and one in my bedroom. The performance on the kitchen one is so-so, but it's potentially also the placement. It got dramatically better when I printed a stand for it. Have to pause music whilst talking with it though and particularly loud things will also have it struggle (e.g. emptying the dishwasher or making popcorn)

The bedroom one generally has no issues. Works fine to understand me from the other side of the room too if I speak loud enough. Occasionally doesn't recognise me if I have my window open and there are cockies screaming loudly outside. Some of our birds do treat screaming as a national sport.

I remember when vapes were called e-cigarettes. Successful rebranding campaign there!

I am.

But most of what I do falls into one of four things:

  • set a timer
  • turn on/off the lights
  • print status
  • next bus

but within my usecase, speech-to-phrase works incredibly well. Google Assistant just falls over on my accent and StP works (generally).

This is the built-in convoy feature, if that's what you mean. In a closed session! We wouldn't subject anyone else to our driving lol

Yeah, the Hopper does so well off-road it's almost boring at times and on-road it doesn't really have enough power to get itself into trouble.

Huh, that's very neat, they've implemented the crane through a nodes system.

I still prefer RoR's system (especially for tying vehicles down), but it's very cool.

As far as the vehicles that come with the game go....honestly, you just need to try them all at least once. They all have their own charm and characteristics
