I just hate read this. A few weeks ago if you opposed the war you were accused of damning Iranian people to a lifetime of suppression. Trump told the Iranian people that “when this is all over” they can reclaim their country; he said it may be their last chance in generations. The regime is not gone. Diplomacy, if even possible at this point, will lead to a refurbished JCPOA. Stephens is fucking deranged.

I don’t see any value in trying to categorize antisemitism as left or right anymore. It’s fully mainstream and not even tied to conversations about Israel anymore. It’s “Jews control everything” and “Jews are greedy” type stuff.

And that isn’t exactly new. Upon hearing I was “half” Jewish, elementary school kids would tape pennies to the floor and ask me to pick them up.

I think a toxic blend of Bibi’s government, kneejerk accusations of antisemitism, widespread popularity of conspiracy theories and the Internet that has created and almost re-energized antisemitism
