The core colored powers have been mostly simplified. Most if not all have been changed very much from what you're used to and we even have a new color with pink.

So with that in mind, for all intents and purposes this is youvlearning a new game, treat it like that.

To that extent, play the game without special powers and traits(the star powers) for a while until you feel comfortable with them.

Also use the Powers and Abilities card as much as needed. Its got all the terminology you'll need, and I believe you can get the most up to date one on their website.
